Bah humbug!! What's the worst holiday gift you got this year?   

Id have to just sit here and laugh for a second.. my worst gift was like yours from my mother in law.. for the last 10 years now, she gets me the same thing for christmas a cant of assorted popcorm.. 1. I HATE popcorn... 2. I cant even eat popcorn! 3. Every year my husbands tells her thank you mom thats more of a gift for me jess doesnt eat pop corn..

well this year i had already had it with my mother in law.. i tend to bite my tounge alot because im a fairly decent person, and she is a way over sensitive one.. well this year i just couldnt.. with the issues i was already having with her i came right out and said it.. " couldnt you save yourseld the $10 and bought me a dunkin donuts gift card with it? id be more happy with a box of candy canes! I do not eat popcorn. she looked at me and said i buy it for you every year, i know you love it, you just must not be in the mood this year! WHAT!?!?!?!?! man i wanted to give it to her!!

I didn't receive many gifts this year as we all decided to pare down our Christmas to save money. That said, I think that the worst gift that I received was from my sister-in-law. She gave me a basket filled with mostly things for the kitchen, but also some random things mixed in as well. There were two bread pans, some stainless steel cooking utensils, a movie that I've never heard of and a chocolate bar. All of this in a basket that a college student would use to tote their things to and from the community bathroom. I appreciate the things that I know I would use but I am still trying to figure out the movies and the college dormitory basket. I live in my own home and don't need a basket to tote things to my own bathroom and as far as the movie goes, I outgrew teenage comedy when I outgrew my teenage years.
