| | Do you get 30 mintues or more of exercise a day? When I exercise often I sleep better. Also, I take a HOT bath, and go to bed afterward. As my body temperature drops from my bath, it a natural signal to the body to go to sleep. | | | | | | |

| | You should do hard exercise that makes you sweat and gives you a higher heart puls. Your body needs to rest to recover and it does that best when you sleep. You will feel more relax after the a good time exercise. I don`t know your fitness level, but if you never did much exercise before I recommend you start slow to avoid any injuries. Another thing you could do is to make your sleep more like a rythm. You say to yourself you have to get up at 6 or 7 in morning or whenever you like to wake up and stick to that. Your body will find it more relaxing. But the best thing is exercise and at the plus side you get more fit ;) Happy new year to you and hope you can get better sleep in 2010 :) | | | | | | |

I have so much trouble sleeping but when I play this in bed, on a DS, I find that my mind is concentrating on one thing only and more relaxed and I often find myself falling asleep without being aware of it. My mind is always racing when I try to sleep so I have to do things that let me switch off. I also find reading in bed is very helpful, some people will say it is best to read a gentle, relaxing book but I quite often read a horror story with no problems. | | | | | | |

| | hi risaattrell well for me as I have allergies I take benadryl at bedtime and have no problem sleeping at all. its not a natural remedy but a lot of hospitals use it as a sleeping pill, and for me it does work too. valerian did not do a thing for me, just a waste of money. I think a lot of herbs sold are not given enough of the working element to do anything,its more like graft on the part of the seller. I do not like using herbs much because there is no safequard on them as to how much is effective and if we get enough of the real herb to do any good nor are we given any assurance that there are no side effects. some herbs cannot be used orally as they are poisonous. exercise earlier in the day helps to make us naturally tired and sleepy. do not eat any thing heavy at bed time if you need a snack make it like like peanut butter and crackers or cheese and crackers. as a diabetic I usually have alight snack so I will not go low in the early morning hours. | | | | | | |
