| Whose the better guitarist, Jimi Hendrix, or Jimmy Page? | | | | They are both very skilled guitar players, but I am not quite sure which one is liked more by people. I am thinking that Jimmy Page may be the better guitarist by a very small bit, but I would still like to know what everyone else thinks. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Jimi was an experimental guitarist...he was trying to do things no one else had. Jimmy is an accomplished guitarist...but is very sloppy live. | | | | | | | | | | Top Depression Signs Are You Depressed? The Danger You Might Not Know! drnedley.com | add comment | | | |

| | Jimmy Hendrix is by far and away widely considered the best rock guitarist to ever play. Page is well known as an excellent guitarist in his own right, but in judgeing the two I would give it to Hendrix. He was way ahead of his time and influened just about everyone who ever learned to play after him. He was an innovator of the instrument more than anyone else before or since, save for maybe Eddie Van Halen. Jimmy Page is part of one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time, and he has influenced his far share of musicians himself, but in putting together a list of all time greats is only in the top 10-20 in my opinion. In this debate a majority would still go with Hendrix as the best of all time, and for good reason. When he was alive, nobody could do what he did, quite like him. In my list however he is #2. In my humble opinion Eddie Van Halen is the best of all time. Jimmy Hendrix was the father of Harmonics and creating the melodic sound that he did. But, Hendrix died way before his time, and Eddie Van Halen took alot of what Hendrix did and perfected it. No two guirtarists have influenced their generations, and the generations after them like Hendrix and Van Halen. | | | | | | | | | | 4 Note Blues Licks? | | I'm not too excited by either one of them, but if I absolutely had to make a choice, it would be Hendrix. I've never seen what was so great about either Page or the band he was a part of. Give me Hendrix, Richie Sambora, or Brian May any day. These guys rock! | | | | | | | | | | Bipolar Disorder Symptoms Learn Symptoms of Bipolar Disorder & Depression + Treatment Option www.lakeviewhealth.com | add comment | | | |
