What do you know about lamb chops? |
| |
| I just went to get a steak I bought yesterday. Which is now cooking in my oven.I saw that I picked up lamb chops in place of pork chops. I thought it was pork chops. I should have known by the price of them. But,being it was the big pack from bj's I thought it was pork chops that price $17.00 I heard they smell up your house when you cook them. Is this also true? My mom is allergic to it so I am scared to cook them. If I give them to a neighbor should I ask them to buy it from me? Thanks for all your help | | | | | |

| | I think this is definitely one of the times that the lamb really doesn't need to be laying down. It's time to get up and run as fast as you can. If you don't she just might think that you are what is for dinner. | | | |

| | I've cooked them before and I don't remember them smelling up my house...but it was a while ago so I can't say 100 for certain. Treat them pretty much like yo would good beef. As for the alergy then I supose I wouldn't cook them if your mom is going to be there, food alergies tend to be pretty severe and are often triggered by even microscopic contact. As to charging your neighbor....I'll leave that one up to you. | | | | | | |

| | I don't know anything about lamb chops because I refuse to eat lamb so I can't help you there. Since you're on a fixed income though, I see nothing wrong with asking some of your neighbors if they'd be interested in buying them from you for the price that you paid for them. It's not like you're trying to make a profit off of them. | | | | | | |

| | Hi, yes they do smell a lot when they are cooked which is why everyone has them cooked at the tavernas rather than at home, the best way to do them is outside on a barbecue. You could always trade them with your neighbour if you don't like to mention money. | | | | | | |

| | Of course the lamb smells much harder than porc, so you have to treat well before cooking. If you stuff it or fry it, you should put pepper powder in it. If you stew it, it'd better if you add some sour thing on. However, I don't think that selling to your neighbor is a good idea. She/he can guess out that you don't like this item at all, but a gift is always better than a sale. | | | | | | |

| | Lamb chops are my favourite, although I dont eat them sdo much now as they have fat on them. Aussies are lamb chops experts. Lamb chops dont smell up your house anymore than any other meat, in fact, I have never heard of that. The best method to cook them is by grilling or bbq. Is your Mum allergic to lamb? That is an unusual allergy. Dont waste your expensive lamb chops. Cook them for your family and give your Mum something else. | | | | | | |

| | lamb chops are of lambs of course, um not sure which part thou. i only help pack the chops up for the frezzer. lamb does smell when it's cooked but not that bad, my mum couldn't cook it for yrs after she was preg with my bro. just the smell set her off, and made her feel sick. if your friends with your neighbour, just give them to them. be nice, they may give you something back at some stage. or just give them to a friend. | | | | | | |

| | Hi giftsandbags, Is it the lambchops that you are now cooking? if not then I would return them to the store and get what I really wanted. I don't know a lot about lamb chops other than that I really don't like them. My grandmother used to cook them a lot and I just remember HAVING to eat them because that's what my parents taught me....When you are at someones home you eat what they serve you. It was horrible and the smell alone was wretched. It smelled like cooked urine! My grandmother was wealthy and I swear the rich people have no sense of taste. She used to also eat things like pigs feet. Ya, I'd try to take it back for a refund or an exchange. | | | | | | |
