Do you ever receive wrapped christmas gift, still with price tag inside?  

I haven't recieved any gifts with price tag inside. This may be because I got only very little gifts. I did it once. I got a Christmas gift for my colleague and got it wrapped with presentation paper at the store. It is not the duty of the person who wraps the gift to take out the price tag; I should have done that, but forgot it.

I am like you, very cautious and remove the price tag before packing. I felt it is not good to include the price tag with the gift. If I am wrapping the gift at shop itself I may request to the shop keeper to remove the price tag. May be some people are not serious or forgetting to remove the price tag. In my opinion a price tag should not be attached with the gift. I have never received a gift with price tag.

Yes, i did experienced receiving gift with a price tag. My thought was , if it was meant or overlooked. Either what way, I am still thankful of the gift. People do commit mistakes too.

Hi Ysabel? Wow! That's really a hurry situation for them to give a gift with a price inside and imagine it happens five times this holiday. Sometime it really happen when rush situation like you said. But have we realize it's because they still remember us until to the last minute of giving a gift. That's why no matter what happen we must thank to those people who give a gift no matter what is the pricd was.

Regarding to my experience? I haven't experience it because sometimes when I received a gift i just open it and trow the cover and no longer try to find if theres a tag price.

In summary the most important thing is we have a gift for any kind of event holiday.

I don't have any experience related to this --receiving a wrapped christmas gift with a tag on it this year. last year i did. i received a lotion with a price tag attached to it. i informed and teased the giver and she was so embarrassed about it. it was a funny moment for the two of us. now she was so careful and gave me gift not wrapped and no more tag on it.

I was always encouraged by my parents to remove the price tag from gifts before handing them out when I was younger, and it has always stuck with me. It feels like you're just trying to show off or boast if you leave the price tag on a gift before giving it to someone, and it kind of ruins the generous feeling.

No, but father once gave me a present someone had given to him without opening it first. He thought it was red wine but it was akevitt (Norwegian schnaps, quite strong both in flavour and alcohol percent) which I don't like at all. Since then he has been more careful with what he hands out :-)

I think I would have been a bit surprised if I got a present with the price tag on. It doesn't matter that much, but it just something you don't do.

I have received gifts before with the price tag still attached. I just ignore it. It is usually because the person wrapping it forgot to take the tag off, or were afraid that the gift would not be something that I would enjoy and wanted me to be able to return it.

I think that this year, many people were rushed due to the economy. Gifts were bought at the last minute and wrapped in a hurry to get them ready for the holiday. I would not worry to much about it, as it was most likely just forgotten in the rush.

I have a time or two out of all the presents I have received. Its truly not that big of a deal. Most of the time if I see it, its likely that I will not pay attention to what exactly the price tag says. I'll just rip it off and pitch if. Even if I do, it will forgotten. I really have no concern one way or another regardless.

I am very careful to make sure that the price tag are not on the gift's i am giving. I myself have recieve gifts with prices on it. It is not a really big deal to me as the gifts comes from the heart not how much it cost matters!
