clothes moth on my rug

six months ago I bought a wool hand made rug. 3 months later I noticed adult moth but did not paid attention to the rug because it was new. 2 weeks ago I was sure that the rug I bought obtained larva when I bought it.The company rejects my claim and say the rug had no larva when they delivered it. Could they be right?

Do you have an hole sin your rug? Could you have it cleaned to remove any larvae that may stiull be living?
