Hello, Tony. What a great discussion. Actually, I think I'd go along and ask to be her apprentice. A lot of the people that were accused of witchcraft were actually just wise women who knew a lot about plants and the ways of the country and used their knowledge for good.

Hopefully, we'd get on really well together - my ex husband used to say I must be a witch because I always found him out when he was lying to me. I couldn't convince him that the only reason I knew he was lying was because his lips were moving.

I think she'd be handy to keep in reserve for turning people into frogs or spiders as well, so all things considered a great addition to the neighbourhood. And perhaps she could teach me a spell so that my vodka bottle never ran dry.

A nice lighthearted look at the ways of witches, but sad to think these beautiful women were burned at the stake for trying to help others with their healing ways in those days gone by.
I would definately opt for 3, 4 and 5 and for the 6th I would ask her to teach me the craft of the wise.

I've always found it interesting but sad, that women have been persecuted through history--simply for the fact that they are different from men. Many times, instead of embracing the differences and learning from each other--the women are condemned.

But, since this is supposed to a light-hearted discussion, I will simply say--I would call her sister and friend. Ask her to tea and insist she bring her kitty,and her broom. Then once tea is over, we can go for a ride. :-)

Hey tony, the witch situation is something I can relate to. I was married to one for some time, and I must say yhe medieval solutions would be ny prefered. LOL!

No warlocks? Anyway, I would ask her to take me to witchland . I think that should be interesting. I alos like mordern solution no 2, there are qite a few people I would like to see as taods. Better still I would ask her give her powers to me for a day.

I know a couple of witches here on myLot - and that is NOT being nasty. They claim to be witches. And before anyone jumps on me, I must add that they are/were two of the loveliest people here.

I met them here when I first came to myLot more than three years ago. (I left for a couple of years and came back a few months ago). I have checked but they haven't been active here for a while. I hope they return.

One of these ladies is a wiccan and the other a pagan. I am a Christian whose relationship with my Saviour has top priority in my life, yet I enjoyed many long, respectful discussions with these two ladies and appreciated them for their caring attitudes.

What would I do with a witch? Presuming she is as lovely as the two I know from here, I would happily call them my friends and enjoy their company.
