| crafts and writing  | | | |  I am not really sure where to begin this discussion, but I will give it a shot here in crafts and see if any of you may relate.
I write and I have a passion for writing. This does not mean I am good at it, it means that I enjoy it. So on the writing site when they asked me to look over the "crafts" sections and keep track of things I thought - hey two things I enjoy - this will be great.
I was ever so wrong. It is kind of like this. Has anyone else seen a great pattern to use "scraps", but the scraps you had were not perfect so you just bought more supplies? Anyone?
I would be reading the article to tell the writer how great they were and then I would get off on a tangent trying to make the craft they were describing. Not what the goal was at all.
So this "job" made me start at least fifty projects and help about zero writers! I know there is humor in here somewhere - anyone help me find it?

After about an hour I realize that I need to finish reading the instructions and when I get back they say they couldn't find them... That's when I realized I should've read all the article first before I started it. Then I needed to let them know that they need to put that earlier in the article, but that sent me back to the project I started to see if I could help them figure out how to do it..."
just a suggestion of what could be done - I donno - I personally think its hysterical - I'd be doing the same thing!
If you saw my craft room, you'd know it too!
Hummm, maybe I should finish that necklace one of these days...
