for the vegans - what about your cereal?  

I am a vegan person. I like to eat corn flakes and have soy milk on them. I like to eat a mixture of nuts, seeds and dried fruit. I have it with soy milk or soy yogurt. I have a glass of fruit juice next to my bowl of cereal.

I am bad, I like a lot of those kids cereals from Whole Foods and Trader Joes! But I will also eat plain cereals like corn flakes and such. I always go with soy milk. I can't stand rice milk, but my mom prefers that since it is supposedly less fattening.

If I have a cereal for breakfast then it is one made from Chia Seeds with some Sultanas and some Goji Berries thrown in. I soak all of this is almond milk that I make myself. We buy almonds by the box!

Chia seeds have to be soaked for at least 10 minutes before you eat them as they continue soaking up all of the liquid in your stomach if you do not and then your body will not get the hydration from it!

I only have this for breakfast occasionally as most days I prefer to have a large smoothie! YUM!
