Do you prefer laptops or desktops ?  

I use my computer for presentations considering that I do a lot of training and conduct seminars on safety and other related stuffs. For me, the most appropriate would be the laptop rather than a desktop. It does offer a lot of advantages in my kind of work considering that I can bring it anywhere. So my answer is obvious... Laptop would be my preference as compared to desktops.

I like desktop computer because you can fix them, I had a laptop computer and it kept running hot, come to find out it, was the battery and it was a Dell, and they charge a lot of money for a new bettery, so I brought me a desk top computer, so is something should happen to it, my niece can fix it for me, she know how to build desktop computers.

I would prefer laptop, I just like it more compared to desktop. Yeah one thing I like about it is it is portable, small and I can take it and use it any where I like. Desktop are for home use, it can be repaired easily compared to laptop.

Quite frankly in my honest opinion, there isn't anything you can't do on a desktop, that you can't on a laptop. However, I have a laptop, because for a so-called large one-bed room apartment there isn't a lot of space for things. I've got a printer too, and I like being able to grab the cable and plug, and unplug it when I see fit. I don't need to have the laptop tied down to one place, or have an endless loop of wires running all around like you would with a desktop. I have one cord going to my laptop, and that's the power cord. I log on to the internet through a wireless router I've got set up in the bedroom. And I have the ease to go where I want with it.

When I first started out, I had laptops, only because I was constantly going back and forth to school. Now that I'm no longer in school, I like the portiablity. It comes in particurally handy if I have to move. Simply unplug and pack up the componants in one bag, and away it goes.

I prefer laptops of cos. How can you compare sleeping to death. Lol

I prefer laptops, not just because of the portability of it, but because it is smaller, and takes up less space, and I can take it with me from room to room should I choose to. I do have a desktop though, and it is used primarily for my router and printer. Right now, I have it off, but should I need to print something, I will have to have it on. I didn't think I would, but I tried printing something the other day, and it wouldn't print, so I know it needs to be on to use it. When I am in here, I am always on my laptop, as I watch tv while I am mylotting, and do ing my other sites. So, my answer is a laptop. Take care, and happy mylotting.

i think for gaming and high graphics good to use a pc.pc have good heat redusing system that will help pc to work more efficiently.but for some one travell a lot,it is good to use laptop which has good configiration.

i prefer laptop for general usage and desktop for games.

Hi there...i prefer desktop than laptop.i feel more comfort to use desktop.it is because of its technology.i would have a high tech desktop with high feature with the same price as an average laptop.
