Well she'd already said before her death that she had no intention of writing another book. Obviously she was begged to write a sequel but always said she never would.

Hi jonjee0203! This is one of my favorite movies of all time! I didn't know how she died, myself. That is so terrible! You wouldn't happen to know how old she was at the time of her death, would you? I just didn't know if she lived to ripe old age or if she died young or what. Kathy.

I had no idea that she only wrote the one book and that she died that way. What a waste of so much creativity. Could you imagine what more she could have written. What a shame. Now I want to watch the movie. Thanks for sharing this info.

For some people it may not be the number that matters most but the quality. In her case she gave her best to the one thing she wanted to do best and the whole world acknowledged it.

I found her work deeply engrossing that I found myself skipping meals just to go on reading.

I have not read the book so I don´t know how good a book it was. Although, if it was a Pulitzer prize, it must have been good. But the movie theat was made based on that book is a classic and I doubt that it will be forgotten. I saw it the first time with my mother. I was little and my mom had seen it before she took me. Then, decades leter, I took my daughters and then, later still, I took my grandaughter. I´m glad that once in a while they put it in the cinemas again. It is not a picture to see from a television, no matter how big.

Yes that seems amazing ! A person writing just one book which is probably considered to be one of the most famous and popular classic of the world.But again I doubt if she herself could have come up with another book comparable to her one and only classic.I dint know that she died in a road accident ...Have a nice day

I did not know the fact and I felt very sorry to know about her accidental death caused by a driver on the road. It is a great pity that this talent writer died this way. I like the novel very much. I not only read the novel, but watched the movie as well. I was so deeply attracted by its wonderful writing and performance of the actresses and actors. Bless Margaret Mitchell.
