|  Remember the early days of marriage,there was nary a harsh word. These days couples quarrel in the open. They do not care 'two hoots' what the neighbours think of them. Nasty words are exchanged. The children are dismayed. Why do people quarrel? Do they choose to do so? Do they quarrel because they are at their wit's end? Or is it that it has become a habit? What do you think?

| |  My husband is very even tempered and sweet natured with me. He may get frustrated at others, but not at me. Some people just have a gripy personality. They are not happy unless they are quarreling.

| | You MUST be an angel. Or your husband is one. Maybe, both of you are to each other. Most of my friends told me that they went through patches where oftentimes they do not talk to their wives for ages after a massive quarrel.I had been asked at one time to get both husband and wive to the dining table but it sure was hard! | | | |

| |  maybe its really part of any relationship, to have a quarrel, some just can't control themselves and they just have some differences in personality & views.
but with my husband, hmmm we do quarrel sometimes but e are the silent types! when we are having some problems, we don't talk to each other & we actually avoid each other...both of us don't like to make noise or broadcast to the neighborhood that e are quarreling...haha
but definitely its not a habit for us, maybe sometimes we are just not in the right mood and so we clash!

| | Yes, avoidance has always been a strategy. It is equivalent to a 'cooling period' so that you can think things through. Quarrels are expected in any marriage but it should not get out of hand. I know of a friend who ensures that the next morning, they will engage in more polite and friendly pleasantries with their spouses. Apparently, it worked. | | | |

I am happy to say that my hubby is not a quarrelsome. he is a peace-loving person. he never gets any trouble with our neighbors. he's a friend of everyone in our neighborhood. i am lucky for having him as my hubby. even with me he has all the patience and understanding.

| | we have our fair share of disagreements and misunderstandings but well taken cared of. i never nagged him and he do the same. so it's a silent one. but in a while things just go the usual and normal way inthe house. yes it strengthens the bond and even make you know your spouse more. | | | |
