do you think you can work in the human resources department?  

It is not about rejection but of course, there is a process where as a human resource person, I can explain to those people who are applying that when they apply, it is not guaranteed that they will be taken. I have had some rejections before but I didn't hate the interviewer or the human resource person. I think that I can handle being in the department because I know that there is a proper way of saying things that people can understand without being hated.

Formerly, i ever worked a few months in the human resource department, to take over one of my colleague who had resigned from my company. She had decided to resign due to, no one to take care of her children, after her maid had resigned. Since i ever learned and helped out in the human resource department, my boss said i am the most suitable candidate to handle that department until the new candidate had been selected. Well, the job is quite tough and sometimes, like what you had mentioned here, had to disappoint many people in the process of getting the right candidate. But, what i can said is, it's not necessary people will hate this department, as long you know how to explain and give good guide to every candidate that pass through the screening process. They will appreciated your good intention, if you do explain well to them, where they need to improve themselves.

Even though you don't like that job, but you must do what the job asked you to do. That is part of our daily life. You have to consider the company's benefit rather than on personal feeling. Even though you don't like it, you must accomplish it on the best you can.
