Have you ever mistaken a hentai to a regular anime?  

Haha...glad to know that I'm not the only one that has done that before. Something like this happened to me years ago when I first started getting into anime. I can't remember the title but it was some fantasy/action show. The cover was innocent looking enough. I thought that it would be something similar to Record of Lodoss War. So I took it home, popped it in the player and imagine my shock and horror when all these hentai scenes started popping up. I was really embarrassed and mortified. Luckily, nobody else was watching it with me at the time. I ended up chucking it because I didn't want it around for anyone to get their hands on it. It would have been horrible if my younger siblings or one of the neighbor's kids (who liked borrowing my anime) accidently watched it.

But I have to say that that was a learning experience for me. I actually started reading whatever was on the box thoroughly and I did my research before buying any anime that I wasn't familiar with.
