Old Movies  

I actually love the older movies myself....black & white or colour...I'm a HUGE Audrey Hepburn fan and Marylin Monroe as well..and I even like some of the old Elvis movies...I think one of my fav movies and probably the oldest I've watched would be The Hunchback of Notre Dame starring Charles Laughton and Maureen O'Hara from 1939....I've loved that movie since I was a kid...

hi! Yes, I also like to watch some old movies but only from the ones I like- actions and comedies. My favorite old action movies are the movies from Bruce Lee, he is the best actor-fighter for me, he and Jackie Chan. There are also some old, maybe not so from the 80's movies wit him, which are very interesting! I also like the comedies with the French actor Luise de Funies, who is a really great actor!

I love watching the classics more than I enjoy watching modern movies and wish I could get TCM here without having to subscribe to a load of other channels which don't interest me. The reason why I prefer these older movies, those which are B & W in particular is because they come from an era where the most important part of the movie was the storyline and performances. It's rare for an older movie to be boring because the storylines were all so coherently worked.

But then the reason why people consider these older movies to be boring is the current trend for movies which focus on having star names and special effects. Not on the storyline or whether the stars can actually act.

As far as I am concerned, I think I love the old movies so much.As we know that there are a lot of classcial movies which were directed by the director. I usually enjoy the movies so much.The classical movie can give me the happiness and laugher now and then .I think the most important is that we still can learn something in the movies.

I am old school, so I love the black and white movies. I remember when we'd watch television and watching the patterns on the screen after the station went off. So I'm still enthralled by old movies, especially horror. King Kong is really awesome in black and white. I was very happy when I found a DVD of it at Walmart a couple years ago.

One of my favorite movies is a old western called THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY. I feel that was one of Clint Eastwood's best performances in a western. Another favorite classic of mine is THE WIZARD OF OZ. That was a really well put together film. It made me feel like I was right there in OZ just searching for my way home.

I too love the classics. To me the black and white movies are the best to watch. I to have heard people say how can you watch black and white. I just tell them they are the best movies ever. Plus, they don't know it but thoses were the best actors and actresses ever. I love them all from the dramas, comedies and musicals. There is nothing better when TCM as a bunch of movies in a row that I can watch in one day especially if the weather is bad outside and I just want to stay in watching the classics and munching out.

Clint Eastwood and Bruce Lee films for me. I love Clint Eastwood and I love Bruce Lee, so I love watching their films.

I too am a fan of the classic older movies. Movies of the 40s and 50's are some of my favorites. They knew ho ro make movies then. Movies back then had more emotion. Movies today are a lot about shock value.

I like older movies myself. I find them interesting and some are why the things in this world are how we got to be in the situation we are in it all had to start somewhere. I really love the old Clint Eastwood movies. I love the Dean Martin and Katherine Hepburn movies too they are enjoyable!
