Does video game violence effects on children?  

I think that as the article said playing video games can make children used to violence but it can also help them think better and make them more concentrated.So kids should be allowed to play video games but in a moderate amount.

I don't know about this. I grew up playing games like Contra among other things. Some of the characters in that game looked like demon snakes and mutant spiders. I still have a fear of real snakes and spiders as an adult. Granted, you were supposed to shoot those things in contra, as a means for survival. this study probably used games like Mario, or even Ratchet and Clank. I did have the urge at one point to jump on turtles when I was a kid.

I'm just saying.

I don't believe playing video games is going to have more influence over my kids than I will. I think games should be age appropriate and small ones shouldn't be engaged in violent games to begin with.

Game violence can put a affect on children,when that child may act or want to do something he did or saw in the video game.For example,little boys like playing games with lots of gor,and violence.I think it is best to raise a child and teach them that games like that are wrong and not let them play it.I would need to approve of the game before I would let a child play it,a adult should always go by ratting and read more about the game to ensure there is nothing that may affect childrens heads.Like,for example when parents take kids game shopping they should always go by rattings and read about the game to make sure that it is nothing bad for there kids.Kids should never be exposed to adultish games that are not for them.

Sure thing will, kids are like learn things from what they sees. If they sees what's happening to now, they tends to try it out. Try limit what the kids learn on tv or videos.

i was also one of those children who grew up playing video games a lot. i really didn't mind what i was playing, but what i see on the screens definitely affected my entire being. a normal kid would immitate those what they see (not limited to just video games).

so my point is yes, it does affect children.
