how do you get people to respond to your thread lol  

Well, I'm a pretty new guy here, so I would like to know it too. But yeah I guess it's better to have many friends that respond your discussions.

I was just wondering the same thing earlier, I have lots of friends and I think that I make good discussions, but hardly anyone ever responds to them and also, or some will respond to them but not as many as those as you say are boring. I'm not sure though how you would draw more people to your discussion. I'm thinking maybe by the title, and try to make it more interesting I'm not sure.

That's a really good question. I have noticed the same thing. The only thing I can say is that everyone has different interests and it's hard to know what topic will attract interest at any given time. I think if you stick to starting discussions about things that interest you, you are bound to have a popular discussion sooner or later. I think this discussion will get a lot of interest, in fact.

In my opinion, if you respond in your friends' discussions (and anywhere for the matter) with interesting approach, you create a strong base and your discussions are answered. Though go on being boring, and that disappears.

Having some good friends here surely helps, even when you are not expecting them to answer you always :)

i guess you just did it...well i personally think there's two ways to attract people to respond to your discussion is to make a interesting post and make a very good interesting headline...once they see the headline they will wanna open the discussion to see what it is about....then they would decide whether or not they want to comment on your discussion.making a lot of friends so that they will reply to your post whenever you make a post doesn't work all the time...am telling your from experience that i have here....so good luck to you on that part.

I am new to this but it looks like to me that there are so many post out there it is kind of like hit or miss. Lets be friends and support each other. We need a group of friends and we all can support each other.
