Were you a girl scout or a boy scout?  

Yes when i was in school i was also in girl scout and we have lots of fun out there and teachers scolding for us and working hard is really enjoyable movement for me and i never forget those days of school.

Yup I was a Girl Scout before. My aunt (a teacher) was a Scout Officer, so I was encouraged to join them. I started as a Star Scout and joined meetings and parades.

Yes I was back then. I remember having to bring stuff to stay overnight in school. I have to be honest, I hated every minute of it. I did not like the comforts of staying in school at night since there were a lot of ghost stories. And I really wanted it outdoors in the wild. But the whole thing is so tiring and boring that I did not really enjoy my time back then.

I remember I was in Girl Guides from when I was very little until I was about 16. I went through Sparks, Brownies, and Girl Guides. I remember all the things we did and learnt over the years. I remember one time we went camping and our sites all flooded and we had the camp basically in the river . We also learnt how to cook on coffee cans and just remember have so much fun.

When I was in elementary school I was a brownie. It was so much fun. Every Wednesday I would put on my little uniform and beanie and wear it to school and then go to the meeting at city hall afterwards. It was always so much fun. I loved all the little day trips we would take and the snacks we would have. I totally enjoyed the whole craft thing and worked so hard to get my badges to sew onto my sash. When you said that about the walking across the bridge thing it made me smile because I remember doing that too. I was so proud that day when my parents and grandmother were all there to watch that.

they have changed, but I really don't know how much since my informant in the GS community is kind of on the outside of it now, and lives in Tennessee

Hi friend i would like to tell you about my scout and guide group when i was in my school. I was part of scout and guide group in our school. We enjoyed very much because we use to attain camps very offen we use to have two or three days camps which was full of fun. I would like to tell you about our uniform we had dark blue color frock. Frankly i liked that uniform very much because it was very comfortable. Once i was appointed leader of the scout and guide group and was awarded for the same for great leadership. Hence i learnt a lot being a part of the group.

i can remember being called a CABOY SCOUT in school, in the elementary days. CABOY is a the combination of CAB and BOY Scouts. i think i still holds the records of being a cab scout and a boy scout at the same time. i don't know if it's the same in your place or school, that CAB scouts are from grade one to grade three, while BOY scouts are those students from grade 4 onwards. but i was lucky to be in the Drum and Bugle Corps when i was still grade 3. usually, DBC member scouts start in grade 4 but me, a year ahead. actually, that was only a joke but it brought the trade name until i finish and graduate from elementary.

I really wanted to but never joined though. I guess it was my mom, she was really over protective when we were young, me and my siblings, so she really didn't want us to be in any outdoor activities. I remember how I envied my friends who have this knot tying skills and salutes and uniforms. I never hated my mom for that though, it wasn't really a big deal, but if it was my decision to follow I would have definitely been a boy scout.
