| Bobby Flay is awesome! | | | | Last night I stayed up to watch the Food Networks chefography on Bobby Flay. I thought it was so cool, because it showed how Bobby flay become who he is today. I guess her was never big on school, but went to an inclusive cooking school for 6 months. At around the age of 19, he was already managing his own restaurant. He also has many restaurants featuring mexican and south-western flavors, which is really cool! I also found it interesitng that Bobby Flay worked on the New york stock exchange for awhile. He used to have a show called Chilling and Grillin, when the food network was first starting. The concept of the show was to have a city boy like Bobby Flay interact with a country boy, and the two cooks had fun poking at one another. I also didn't know that Bobby Flay was in the Japanese version of Iron Chef. His first competition he didn't win, for he stood upon a cutting board, and that is a big no-no in Japan, for cooking utensils are more sacred there. Bobby said he was simply trying to enthuse the crowd though. I guess Morimoto and Flay squared off one more time, and Bobby Flay won, even if he still stood up on the cutting board afterwards. Now Chef Morimoto and Chef Bobby Flay are friends. Cool huh? I really enjoy Bobby Flay's shows and the style of his cooking, and am thinking or ordering one of his cookbooks! | | | | | | | | | | Oprah's Next Chapter New Guests and New Adventures. | | That is cool! I only know Bobby Flay as one of the winners of Iron Chef. Thanks for sharing this info. I watch Food network a lot and Bobby Flay's one of my favorites. I also like Giada, Jaime Oliver, and the one from Healthy Appetite (I forgot her name). And also Ina Garten. Thanks for the info! :) | | | | | | | towongfoo27 (1805)

| | You are quite welcome, jjquiroz7! you can bet I will be watching Bobby Flay tonight, if he is on! It would be awesome if the Food Network had a contest where a viewer could win tickets to meet Bobby flay in person, and dine at one of his restaurants, too! Have a good day jjquiroz7! | | | | | | | Oprah's Next Chapter New Guests and New Adventures. All New Sundays on OWN at 9/8c Oprah.com/OprahsNextChapter | add comment | | | |

| | He's great. I love his Throwdown shows, where he challenges local cooks to a little friendly competition. My favorite episode is the when he challenged a famous diner in New York known for its chocolate cheesecake. My mouth was watering during the entire length of the episode. I saw the same documentary you're talking about. It just confirms that you can't get to where he is by a stroke of luck. He showed intense devotion and genius from the very beginning. Did you see the one about Mario Batali? That one was good too. | | | | | | | | | | Get MORE - LeCordonBleu® Now offering 12-month Diplomas. | | I love Bobby Flay too. He is awesome and also likes spicy foods just like me. I always watch him in Iron Chef America and Throwdown with Bobby Flay which is realY an awesome show. There was a time that his autobiography was featured in a tv show and guess what? He was a dropped out from school he doesn't like schools but look how successful he is right now. He has ihs own restaurant and he is also a great chef. But still nothing beats Ming Tsai as my most favorite chef. I think he beat Bobby Flay in one of the episodes of Iron chef America but I still respect and love Bobby Flay being one of the best chefs of all time. | | | | | | | | | | Get MORE - LeCordonBleu® Now offering 12-month Diplomas.
