In a movie/story have U ever rooted for the villains instead of the hero?  |

|  Despite of the dark desire of the villains to rule the world and other catastrophes, in some stories there were times that you feel more sympathy to the villain over the protagonist because they have a better back-story and origin, you will fell in love with them instead of having them. They have these cool one-liners and dialogues with an attitude while usually the hero/heroines lines were lame. Also its very special if the story unfolds why the villain became so evil.

| |  I love the villains in films.
One of my favorites is the sheriff of Nottingham in Robin hood, he is always evil and conniving but that is fun to watch .
I think it must be very fun to act the villain too.

I think I have admired a villain based on their "acting" and not on the story itself. In an objective point of view I am personally attracted with villains who can convincingly act their roles in such a way they'll make me really really mad. :) Haha. Some villains just don't convince me thus making me bored on the movie itself. I think my favorite villain would be Heath Ledger as Joker.. :) He was so convincing in the movie that I hate and love him for that :D Haha :)
But in the story itself.. hmm.. I haven't experienced rooting for the antagonist yet. :)

Yes.. Most of my childhood!!
I can always remember cheering on Darth Vader when I was a tot, and anything that involved bad vampires, I always cheered them on. I think that I can recall doing this in one of the XMen movie sequels as well.
