Secretary of state Hillary Clinton said "we have to address this deficit 1.4 trillion dollars and the debt of the United States as a matter of national security not only as a matter of economics," Clinton said. "I do not like to be in a position where the United States is a debtor nation to the extent that we are".
A whole year has been ate up with a health care bill 70% of the American people have rejected over and over again.
Our country is in the middle of two raging war's,unemployment is above 10% in to many cities all across the United States, employers are laying off employees like flies and some of our major business such as Whirlpool has moved their business to China or Mexico.
It has been reported over 2.4 million home owners are at least 90 day's behind in their payment and 1.9 million Americans are set to loose their home in 2010.
Food stamps are at a record high with 37.5 million American collecting food stamps, homelessness is staggering all across the United States.
Soup kitchens are reporting they can not stay up with the demand.
I'm one of them Americans that is being called insensitivity because some people do not have health care.
I wonder in 1929 was the American people's top concern health care when they was living in box's on the city streets and begging for a mouthful of food?
Dose any one know how the American people can sustain 2 trillions dollars on top of our counties mountain of debt if the democrats ram their health care bill down our throats as they saying they will?
Barack Obama is on record more then once saying the debt of our country is unsustainable,to the people that wants this massive health care bill what part of "BROKE" do they not understand?

(Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton On The Record)
WASHINGTON, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday said "outrageous" advice from former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan helped create record U.S. budget deficits that put national security at risk.

"It breaks my heart that 10 years ago we had a balanced budget, that we were on the way of paying down the debt of the United States of America," Clinton said.

"I served on the budget committee in the Senate, and I remember as vividly as if it were yesterday when we had a hearing in which Alan Greenspan came and justified increasing spending and cutting taxes, saying that we didn't really need to pay down the debt -- outrageous in my view," she said.

Though she did not give a date, that hearing must have taken place during the presidency of George W. Bush, who authored a massive tax cut while spending billions on wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and sponsoring a major expansion of the Medicare health program for seniors.

Clinton urged lawmakers to tackle the federal budget deficit, which reached a record $1.4 trillion for the fiscal year that ended last September.

"We have to address this deficit and the debt of the United States as a matter of national security not only as a matter of economics," Clinton said. "I do not like to be in a position where the United States is a debtor nation to the extent that we are."

I think she is just politicking by pointing her finger and blaming someone else for the gargantuan deficit Obama is building. Heard it all before. Crocodile tears.
