I don’t think you are over reacting…after all you did speak to them about the problem so they should have taken more precautions. In our place, whenever construction work is carried on in tall buildings, they hang a huge tarpaulin from the top of the building so that whatever construction material falls, it will land within the construction premises and not outside or in other people’s homes. And you know, sometimes you just have to shout to be heard LOL so I think you did the right thing…not many people can handle respect…they take that as weakness.

I would be just as angry.
That is a dangerous situation and the company doing the construction work is putting your family at risk.
They need to sort it out before they continue with their work.
Could you get a photograph or two of the scene and the lack of safety?
It might be worth it if anything gets broken on your part of the property or even someone is hurt.
Sometimes an angry reaction is the only one that gets anything done.

There is no such thing as being overprotective when it comes to your family, friends, and other loved ones. I am in a situation with my apartment, trying to fix a broken toilet and it's not happening enough. I know that's not as bad as your situation, but I know the feeling. In cases like this, we have to stay after those in charge, to make sure they do their jobs.

It's really dangerous.You were protecting your family.The construction company should take measures to stop this happenng again,It's totally illegal to let the construction maerials fall to the private space.If it happened to me,I would directly go to the government to complain it.

hi Monster ---i would take you to be mad if you haven't shouted at them---if i were in your shoes then i would have given a Big but small blow on his face so he would never ever dare to drop any cement in my surroundings---its the Owner who deserves a blow coz he should take care such that he do not cause any trouble to the neighbours.Its always good to loose our temper on useful things rather than on silly ones and you haven't done anything wrong girl.great day.

That is normal feeling, Dorothy. I would have reacted the same way if I were you. There are lots of irresponsible people in this world, who doesnt' care about others. I don't understand why they didn't check even after you informing them. I am sorry for your feeling. Hope the thing will be fixed soon and you will be back as dear Dorothy of mylotters.

me too, im so angry today. i wake up early in the morning to process government documents for my maternity benefits and i also wish to file a loan. and yet no one even tried to help me. im about to go home around 3pm after going to different branches just to settled things out but when i decided to just change my membership from employed to voluntary so my time will not be wasted, the girl whom i think cant help me coz she look so strict and scary, is actually the one who explained to me what to do so i can get a loan and approve my maternity benefit. and just for few minutes, all papers was done and i got home 3:30pm just 30 minutes process. how stupid other government employee that they dont know what to do nor instruct their members how to do to fix things. thanks god theres still someone who knows everything.

Who wouldn't get mad if the construction company is not clearing up the mess. If telling them to clear up their mess falls on deaf ears, I will take further action to drag them to the relevant authorities. You should do that.

The first reaction is usually the correct one, and you have the right to be paranoid in this issue. WHy? what if some one was there and either got injured or killed, it would have really snap you. how can you be a monster when you're so damn pretty i bet they're minds were blanked when they saw your face, thinking that they were shocked at your rant.

Warn them that you will call the cops if this continues.

I would react the same as you and worse, that is so dangerous and shouldn't have cement falling in your yard, if it fell anyone or even on your foot, you can sue them, then they will situp and listen, they should be more careful.
