Are You Glad That Lady GaGa Has Made Belly Warmers Fashionable?!

For a long time now I have had to wear belly warmers (large knickers that do NOT go underneath my belly-button) lol. I am afraid I go for comfort above all else and sexy underwear...er, what's that? I'd rather go without! Marks & Spencer are probably the biggest sellers of big knickers and they couldn't understand why "the younger generation" were buying them so were selling far more than usual. It's down to Lady GaGa! Because she wears them, the young girls want to wear them too. Maybe not in the way I wear them but I try not to think about that! Hoorah! I never thought I was so fashionable.

Does this mean butt floss is out of style now?

My uncle claims that he can tell when a woman's wearing a thong because, if she....passes wind... it makes the same noise as when you blow on a piece of grass held between your thumbs.

Good one! And to emphasize the point, my friend here just farted (no lie!)

Haha! I don't think little knickers give that much support either. I've seen a few flat bums knocking about (not that I'm looking) but you know what I mean? Less isn't always more.

I don't care what she wears, nor what is/isnt fashionable. Like you, my knickers are for comfort and for me only

I'm not thin but I don't care, bikinis are fine with me and the tummy can hang over all it wants. No butt floss for me though!

I don't care, I'm still wearing 'em! At least I can get them in different colours as opposed to beige or off-white. M & S do try and be adventurous that way haha! I've stopped wearing those Magic Knickers as they have the effect of pushing fat up over the top of the knickers. Very unsightly I must say. Great if you're thin but not so great if you're a bit rotund like me.

Hello, Janey. I'm a 'Big Pants' girl as well. Even when I was a teenager and I had the figure for tiny briefs, I didn't like them. And as for thongs, well - who wants to chew cloth all day? A friend of ours calls big pants 'apple trappers,' which is quite funny. It may be nice to be fashionable, but it's even better to be comfortable and fashionable, isn't it?

My sentiments exactly Sandra. You are the classiest lady of the highest order so what you say GOES in my opinion! "Apple Trappers" what a fantastic description, I love it! Mum has this habit of embarrassing me in Boots. We'll go in and I'll say, "Right Mum, what have we come in for today?" and she'll reply (really too loudly to be honest), "Well, I really must get some Fanny Warmers!" My God, talk about wanting the floor to open up and swallow me whole. What does she mean? Carefree Pantyliners! Why she can't say this I don't know...and she calls Femfresh powder "fanny powder" and I just die with embarrassment. She honestly doesn't realise there are people around her and I don't think she cares either!

Hiya Winky! Believe me I don't look as good as Lady Gaga in them but at least I'm comfortable, which is the main thing. I don't go walking around in public in them so they're hiddenn underneath my clothes, which I suppose is just as well!
