Do you put birthday candles in your Cake?  

Growing up my parents would do that, but now that I'm older I don't typically get birthday cake. I may get a sweet treet once and a while, but I don't typically put candles on it. Last one I had I couldn't if I wanted to, it was too soft for that.

But, I remember I used to do that.

No, there wouldn't be enough room!!!....altho', it would be a good excuse for having a really big cake

My family still does the traditional candles thing.

Not now I dont. When I was little yes but I dont think its as important unless you are having a party because it looks nice to have all the candles lit and the lights out. For the past couple of years I havent had a birthday cake at all.

It happened when I was young. The last time I celebrated my birthday with cake (and candles) were when I was six. After that I don't have cakes, or candles. So when I grew older, I didn't put candles anymore. But it will be fun if I can do it once again, right? Ah, I miss that time...

Yes I do!But at my age even 1 candle would do as long as I can wish before blowing it.

nowadays its just cut the cake and rub it on the birthday guy's face

I always put candles on my birthday cakes, I think it is what makes the cake itself attractive and they are fun to make a wish and try to blow them out so your wish will come true hopefully!!!

When I was a kid and I had birthday parties, my parents would put candles on my cake and light them. I'm 19 now, and I haven't put candles on my birthday cake for a couple years- I haven't even had an actual "cake" per se every year since. I've just had more of birthday "treats."

Nope, not really. I don't want to see my age on my cake. Hahaha! Just kidding! But on my niece's birthday we usually put some candles with numbers on the cake.
