love is eternal?????  

No. That's awful but...no. Maybe in 1% of the cases the love is eternal. After, let's say, 10 years of marriage the couple won't love each other so much. That's my opinion.

Yes, I think that love is comes from your heart because if you hate some one you cant pretend that you love his/her so I can say it's eternal feeling.

True and divine love is eternal. I am glad that God's love never changes. He loves me yesterday, today and in the days to come. I am glad He didn't come down on the cross of Calvary when He was nailed to pay for my sins and your sins. Divine love is truly eternal because God is eternal. The love that the world knows is just temporary for many. Look at the celebrities. They will proclaim their love to someone. After a month or a year, they will break up and find someone new. That is not true love in my own personal opinion.

Nope, I don't. Maybe a mother's love for her children lasts as long as she lives, but then she dies. AS for love between a man and a woman, sometimes it lasts their whole life, sometimes not.

only God's love is eternal. no human being could promise this kind of love, because we are made imperfect, and the only One Who could give this eternal love is the One who is Divine, that's God.

It will only be eternal when two parties love each other truthfully. Sometimes, we say "i love you" just to convince yourself or ur partner that you love him, thats superficial and never love will become eternal for that.

In book of Genesis God forbade Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of eternal life. Jesus on the other promised eternal life to those who believe in Him. I believe in Jesus and I believe in His promise of eternal life.
