| So the Chicago Cubs messed up . . .  | | | |  a ball players check, his direct deposit with a teenagers employee elsewhere in the company. I just saw this at the awards for stupid lawsuits. Turns out that the ball players name and the teenager employees name are the same. Anyway the teens parents let the Cubs take the money back but wanted a guarantee from them in writing that it was there mistake so that the IRS wouldn't tax them on 300,000$. Instead of just doing that the Cubs sued the parents. Not only don't they know how to win a world series now they don't know how to pay people lol.

| |  The cubs are lucky that the parents are willing to give it back. Heck I would be in cancun kicking it on the beach after I got 300,000 in my bank account. Well maybe a extradition free country at least lol. Has to be something more to this story though. I don't think the cubs would sue for no reason.
