Do You Ever Feel Like Your Invisible ??  

Oh wow! That is horrible, especially when they glare at you as if it's your fault that THEY ran into you! Some people can just be so freakin' rude and I don't know how people can be that oblivious and not know what is going on around them! Another one I hate is when your behind someone and they run into someone they know and they start talking while blocking the whole isle so you can't get around! Not kewl!

Yep I have seen that all before too! A person yacking on their cell phone and NOT paying attention to everyone else around them! They are very hard to get around! I know that one from personal experience too! Or 2 people that happen to know eachother strike up a conversation while blocking the whole darn aisle so none can get by! Some people just make me so angry! Could have a bit to do with my stress level lately too though!

oh yeah, well, the cell phone-ers don't notice me, but most people talking seem to.

Like I said, I seem to get noticed for some reason - probably why I gave my character, Elic, that "gift."

Good point! I have had people cut right in front of me to as I was about to reach for something on the shelf, I guess because going around me would just make too much sense!

Yep, some places have really horrible "customer service" that's for sure!I have noticed that Christmas seems to be the worst time for everything (rude people, unhelpful sales associates, LONG lines at the till, etc).

And that is why I have gone to doing ALL my Christmas shopping...on line. Now think about this: comfort of your own home, take your time to look at what you want, noone shoving past you, interrupting you, hitting into you. No rude sales people, no long lines at the till,,and those, nope we don't have that, and its right there in front of them! Don't know where you live but for me, no snow and ice and cold to drive in, don't have to carry the stuff in the house, the ups does that for me! Just gets better and better!

You are SO lucky! That does sound like an idea though Christmas ... to buy all of my Christmas gifts online! A lot less headaches that way with other shoppers! BUT then again I don't know if I would like that either because I try and get out every day! Staying home drives me crazy after a few days of not going anywhere! BUT unfortunately I live in Canada so their is going to be snow and ice and crap!

After driving to work everyday in this snow and ice and the drifting I am so happy to be staying home. I have gotten very spoiled this winter. I drive to and from church and anywhere else I have to go my husband goes with me or I go with one of my growed up children! I still have to go out and get the groceries and I don't buy clothes on line or fabric. I love to sew. My best friend has family in Canada and we went there one year for 2 weeks. I love Canada. My husband use to drive Semi Truck and we went from Michigan through Canada and into New York. We live in Southern Michigan...oh guess you all ready figured that out.

I love Canada too and I feel very fortunate to be living here! I'm not too crazy about the winters are they are VERY cold and I hate the ice and snow ... BUT ... even worse then that I HATE the rude shoppers at Walmart!

Before I had kids it used to be that way for me! None would even think of running into me! If they saw me walking down the aisle they would get out of my way, and if by chance (the VERY odd time) someone ever did get in my way they would apologize left, right, and centre! BUT I guess that now I have kids I have more patience for rude and inconsiderate arseholes or something!

Oh yes, I forgot the children with you Teddy for sure you can't be kicking people's **sses with the kids there LOL
I can't either anywhere for if my son sees me do that, then that's his cue to do the same..not cool..we don't like do to damage..non violence right?

Exactly, I am trying to set the best example I can for my kids! I don't want to be one of those "Do as I say not as I do" kind of parents! I want to be a "lead by example" kind of parent!

I hear you hun ... hit and runs are the worst. I mean it's one thing to not notice you for whatever reason, but to know that they hit you and just take off with no apology or anything! People have seriously gotten ruder and more inconsiderate the last few years. Is getting to the point where around Christmas I don't even want to look at a store!

Exactly! I wasn't ignored by a special someone though, it was just other shoppers at the store that seemed to "not see me".

Wow! At least they apologized to you for it! Most people don't get an apology for it at all! Most people just become victims of a "hit and run" especially around Christmas times and/or when the store is packed!

I always have my kids with me when I got to Walmart, and they keep me calm. Even if they weren't/aren't with me I still behave myself! BUT your right sadly their are rude people everywhere in this world!
