|  The Obama administration will accept no more public input for a federal strategy that could prohibit U.S. citizens from fishing some of the nation's oceans, coastal areas, Great Lakes, and even inland waters.
Now we see NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and the administration planning the future of recreational fishing access in America based on a similar agenda of these same groups and other Big Green anti-use organizations, through an Executive Order by the President. The current U.S. direction with fishing is a direct parallel to what happened in Canada with hunting: The negative economic impacts on hard working American families and small businesses are being ignored.

| |  Over a million jobs at stake. This must be the jobs stimulus. You know how dangerous those crazy fisherman are! I myself do not eat seafood so this is ok (sarcasm). I live in Colorado. Our three economic revenues, oil and gas, agriculture and tourism. This could affect that. Not to mention coastal jobs, the Great Lakes, I grew up on Lake Huron. This is insane. This land and water belongs to ALL of us! these are resources given to us by our creator.

| |  Pfff...phouque him and the NOAA! My state sets fishing regulations and those are the ones I will go by (on the rare ocaision I actually fish). Looks like New Hampshire has some more federal bullshytte to nullify.

| |  We are fishing some of our waters to total extinction and we have no right to desimate every part of our enviroment. There are whole spieces missing from all of these waters. What right do we have to completely use up all the earths resources and leave nothing for the next generation.
The salmon run in Washington is almost completely gone when there used to be 10's of millions of these fish every year.
People who don't get this are the same ones who don't understand the importance of all the bee's dying, every time you loose one bug or animal you are one step closer to paople having nothing to eat.

| | I don't know anything about the bee issue being temporary. It is still happening all over the world and as yet, they have no idea why. There are several university's and private companies looking at the problem and it has been suggested that it might be a breading problem but no one has suggested that it has gone away.
I know some of the politicians tried to make it a issue about funding research but the bee keepers are not thinking it is a laughing matter. | | | |

| |  Oh just wait til I tell my hubby about this one. He is not very political...but this will get him involved. The man LOVES to fish. He is mostly a catch and release guy...but at times he has brought some home for us to do a fish fry. He just loves the fun and relaxation of being out on the water fishing. Sometimes I think he loves his boat more than me. LOL.
Don't mess with this man's ability to fish...it will get ugly. I know around here if they restrict people's ability to fish it will hurt our local economy. We are a tourist area and during tourist season I know poeple who charter fishing trips for the tourists...no more charters...no more money. Also these tourist must buy a saltwater fishing license to go on these charters...that is much needed money for the state.
I will do some more checking on this.
