After a year and six months  email this discussion to a friend?

I finally managed to get myself back into the real world and got a job. Here is the story:

Friday, March 5, I received a phone call from an attorney's office and I thought, "Oh my gawd.. another bill collector got me." As I continued to listen though the lady on the other end says to me that she was getting back to me from an application I submitted to their office for the receptionist position A MONTH AGO. I automatically said yes to the interview. I figured, what the heck and to just give it a shot even though I am waiting for an approval from something else.

The best part of the story:

I go in Tuesday morning for the interview at 10:00 am and came out of there feeling very confident that it went well. I get a phone call around 3:15 pm from the same lady again (Not who interviewed me.) and says to me, "I wanted to know if you're still interested in the position because we'd like to have you get started as soon as you are able to."

Congratulations libby!
That is the best feeling in the world. For me at least. That moment just after the call confirming that you got the job. Makes you think that all the hardships, and struggles previous to that moment is all worth it.

Congrats my friend! Sometimes it takes them a while to get bck to you. Some places start taking applications a monthy or more before they actually need someone so that they have plenty of time to choose. Good luck!
