The Smiths fans? Morrissey fans?

Recently, I have taken quite a liking to The Smiths.
It all started a couple weeks ago when I came across the video for "How Soon is Now" (it kind of reminded me of AFI- one of my fav band's- video for "Medicate so it especially hit a chord with me), and just fell in love with the song.
I listened to some Smiths songs off various albums and made a mix CD of my favorites. It's got "Ask," "Bigmouth Strikes Again," "Panic," "Rusholme Ruffians," and of course "How Soon is Now" among others.
I was curious to see if there are any mylot-ers that enjoy the Smiths as well?
If so, could you give me some recommendations?
I am curious about Morrissey's solo albums- are those any good? and if so, which is your favorite?
And btw, I find that Morrissey was QUITE attractive back in the day, lol! >///<

I used to have a couple Smiths albums on vinyl...Meat is Murder and The Queen is Dead.

I always liked "Girlfriend in a Coma".

I've got "How Soon is Now" and "Bigmouth Strikes Again" on my computer, but I really need to do a torrent download and get some more.

By the way...did you listen to the 6 minute version of "How Soon..." or the short one?

I listen to the 6 minute version. ^o^ I have "Girlfriend in a Coma" on that mix as well, and I've heard that Meat is Murder is good. btw, thankyou for the response.

I always like the smith and morrissey as a solo singer. i think he is genius composer lol . i fall in love with his lyrics and of course the music. you should try to listen it too. maybe you can try listen to 'suedehead, the best of morrissey'. there are a lot of good songs, my favorite are suedehead, the more you ignore me(the closer i get), interesting drug. but from all his songs i really admire for 'let me kiss you' and 'first of the gang today'. you won't be regret to listen morrissey as much as the smith thumbup .

Thanks for the response! I wasn't aware that there was a "Best of" Morrissey thing- that sounds like the perfect thing for me to get to get a taste of Morrissey. ^o^

Morrissey is my God, seriously. I saw him a few months ago now and he's still got it ;)
I also think he was very attractive back in his day. Gotta love a man with dimples who loves animals :D
