Pass the remote....please  

My favorite time for TV for me was in the 80's when they had shows like Dallas, Falcon Crest, Knots Landings, and Dynasty. These shows were the best for me. The stars that came from these shows were so good. The characters became like family to me. The only show that comes close to thoses shows now would have to be Brothers and Sisters.

The only TV show that I know I religiously watched when I was young, and have not seen being remade yet is, The Greatest American Hero. It was a story of a regular guy given super powers by aliens(I think), but he lost the instruction manual of his superhero stuff. So he would go bumbling around trying to prevent crimes. Pretty funny stuff!

My best boob tube moments were very close to 2008. That's when American Idol, So You think you can dance, America's got talent, america's best dance crew and other shows started appealing to me. I've always enjoyed competitve shows. It's a shame that they took off shows like fear factor. I think they should bring back old favourites we love. Wouldn't you guys agree we should?

I often watched the black and white classics that were from well before the 70's . . . like "The Little Rascals" or "The Three Stooges". I also remember watching Tom Hatten and those Popeye cartoons or "The Family Film Festival" on weekend afternoons - I was fascinated by his drawings. Oh - Sunday afternoons we'd all watch some horror flick with "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark". Remember "Charlie's Angels"? And how about "Happy Days" or "Laverne and Shirley" (and then "Joanie Loves Chachi" from the 80's). "CHiPs", "Miami Vice", "Magnum PI" . . . oh my - looks like I watched too much TV as a kid, eh?

I love watching American Idol, Wipeout, Dr. House , Survivor, America's next Top Model and a lot more.

I am not a hard core sci-fi fan but even I know that 'Dr Who' is the best ever British TV show, possibly the best ever made. Certainly it is one the longest running series ever produced even though it has arrived on out TV screen in two separated incarnations. The idea of Dr Who spin-offs also appeals to me. Series like 'Torchwood' and 'The Sarah Jane Adventures' which takes the Doctors story in a new direction and looks at how his activities have affected the lives of others is very interesting.

Emergency was oneof my favorites, and St. Elsewhere, also Adam 12then later was the CSI series which I dearly loved. I loved anything Medical as I worked in that field all my adult life and I a m a sucker for police type series too even Starsky and Hutch.Also McGyver was another favorite too. oh yes and Star Trek oh yes all of the episodes of Star trek.

i remember i love the movies like mc gyver, airwolf and knight rider when it was still in the 80's and 90's... these three TV series are my favourites and i always try my best to watch them without missing a single episode... take care and have a nice day...

I worked too long in to the evenings in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s (up to 2006) to really get in to TV. I did love the Carol Burnett Show, when I got a chance to watch it. Since retirement in 2006, my favorite shows have been American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, CSI, Cold Case, Medium, Mentalist and Law and Order SVU.
