I want to sell personalized shirts  

hmmm, i think I will not buy it, just because I have never liked shirts with some sayings on them :) i prefer the shirts with some stamps on it like some funny pictures or some cool symbols or even avatars. so try to think over that- i think it is a better idea!

I wuld buy it especially if it had some clever or peersonal sayings on it. I think you should come up with a wvarioety of styukles for each logo and a list of all the differnt ones you can have. Good luck with your endeavor. :)

I probably wouldn't get one with my husband on it, but I would think about getting one with my son. My dad used to own a business doing this. Mostly people got the shirts to give as gifts. It's easier now than when he did it because you can do it with your computer and and iron. Before, it required much more specialized equipment. Are you looking at having a store front or selling online?

I might not buy it, but I know that there is a good market for things like that. I think you would do well with it. I just have all the T shirts I need right now. I have one that says "Bob's Wife" my sister got it from the Bob Store, He has one that says Bob's Shirt, one that says Big Bad Bob, and socks that say "Bob's sock" and 'Bob's other sock". I bet you could come up with some pretty cool things. I know that they sell really well during fairs and carnivals and the like.

This idea is plausible, but for specific sayings you need to wait longer for an audience or fan base. Also, are these shirts going to be made by you or by a third party. IF they are made by you then you might see some lively hood, but if they are made by a third party you might not see too much profit in the business and you make so that you have a profit, the price may be in the ridiculous range.

Those are just my thoughts, take them into consideration. They are not meant to kill your dream, but take them as a different view on the subject and your endeavor.

o,if u r in my country,i will be your customer hehe.but i dont think we are in same country.honestly,i think it is not a fresh idea that write name on the T-shirt.i've seen it many years ago,we call it "lovers' shirt",right??surely you can open a vincit shop near the school,i bet u will get a booming sales and profits.

Hmm, i think i will not buy it because i want something more original, because this type of tee shirt is very known, i've seen them everywhere with names of cities like: "I love Paris", "I love New Yrok", ect...

I'm with the majority here. I would not purchase the t-shirt the way you mention it. I would prefer something with more originality and humor. People need to and want to laugh. If you think in terms of a t-shirt as a "temporary tattoo" you might be able to come up with some "attention grabbing" designs/sayings. "I LOVE MARY" then add (not ready for the tattoo yet)adds a humorous twist (unless you're Mary). I saw a t-shirt the one day. On the front it had a real nice motorcycle design, on the back, in plain lettering..."If you can read this, she fell off". My girlfriend has a t-shirt which says "Ask me if I care". People actually ask her if she cares. It's a real conversation starter because most of the time she forgets she wearing the t-shirt and wonders what the people are talking about. Be imaginative and be original.

I liked your sample shirt and I also like your idea of selling personalized shirts but you're going to have to invest in inventory if you do that, won't you? We have tee shirts made for our chopper shop but they all say the same thing. I know that, the more we order, the less they charge per shirt. Last spring we sponsored a local baseball team and wanted to order tee shirts with our company's name on the back and a number underneath. Since each number was different, the cost was very high per shirt. Our solution was to buy iron on transfers and use our tee shirt press to add the number to the shirts later but I've never been too impressed with the durability of those transfers.

Can I ask how you are making these t-shirts? Is someone making these shirts for you or will you be making these by yourself?
I am not sure that I would buy a shirt with my spouses name on it but I guess I would consider buying a shirt that has a funny saying or picture on it...
