Prank calls do you receive in a day either home/office? How many?  

I do not often get prank calls anymore. It is really common for people to have caller ID and if you can identify the caller you can get them in trouble, so I do not think as many people enjoy making prank calls. Personally, if I cannot identify the caller, I do not pick up the phone. If they want to leave a prank message on my answering machine, I will save the recording and get them in trouble. I guess I just am lucky not to have a problem with prank calls.

I am with you on that if it isnt one of daughter customers or downline people or family I never answer the phone.

wow you seem to have some real issues about prank calls. I am not sure why some people get them any way, since I don't get them. I guess is all about who you mingle with. Not an issue at this end.

I don't get prank calls, just bill collectors.

I used to get prank calls every so often at work. One person really didn't prank us, as he played real stupid and insisted I was dirrectory assistance and decided that it was in my job discription to find him a phone number. I w was working at a pizza hut.... and I CAN"T read a phone book even if I tried.

There is no longer a land line in my place. And, my cell phone doesn't get them.

Nope! Don't make 'em, don't get 'em, and in this day and age of call display, they are much eaiser to track. So why bother?

funny thing is that someone was making a prank call on TV just now. haha It was pretty funny timing.

I have gotten afew over the last few years from some of my grandkids friends because I have had to be unpopular in some situation or another. I used to make them when I was young. When they had party lines and the old fashioned phones. The old "Is your refrigerator running?" comes to mind.

I only own a cell phone, so I don't receive any prank call at home, neither in my phone. At my previous workplace we would sometimes receive prank calls, but rarely, as calling is expensive and many people prefer only to do pranks to those free phone numbers. I wonder why do some people like that much to bother others in the phone

I responded to your discussion lately about phone chat at workplace. I think it include prank calls because prank call have been normal in the environment you are in. i hope they get rid of you as i feel you are really angry for such kind. here at my office i also received prank calls and i hate when they say they want me to be there phonepal. We are now on modern age and why on earth there is still phonepals, so i believe there is still a penpal? And its so irritating when you are busy doing your job and you will received prank calls, i really want to get the head of the people on the other line and smash it.
