Chicago:Grim possibility of class sizes of 37 kids Hundreds lost teaching jobs  

Last week college students across the United States marched in loud protest over steep hikes in tuition and seeing entitlement programs drying up due to no more funds.
Chicago public schools reportedly in bad shape, the fist couple of months at the beginning of the year the count was up in regurd to children shot and killed on school proerty.
Chicago schools are facing 700 milion dollars in budget cuts this year and teachers are expecting up to 37 kid's per class.
Tax revenues has been reported down 37%, education and entitlements can not be paid for with out the tax payers money.
Tax payers are loosing their homes and with that goes property tax which funds public school.
With unemployment up as high as 17% and some cites over 20% for minority's how will the states manage to operate successful public schools with the overly stressed economy?.

Chicago Schools CEO Ron Huberman Monday briefed principals on the grim possibility of class sizes of 37 kids, no non-varsity sports, and cutbacks in assistant principals and clerks if the system must trim $700 million from its upcoming budget, documents obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times indicate. Hundreds of teaching jobs also could be at risk. Full-day kindergarten, magnet schools, gifted programs, early childhood programs and bilingual education also would take a hit under the plan.
