How long you use existing cell phone number?  

Hi laydee, appreciate your quick response. I also have two cell phone number, I still keep my old number for the same reason as you.
My old cell phone number also used to be prepaid card but I converted into post paid so I don't need to worried about top up the card and deducted directly from my account every month.. have a nice day and happy mylotting

Hi cloud, appreciate your response.. I agree with you, I also using old cell phone number which have roaming activated everywhere in my country so that I can carry over everywhere I go. However I only use it for personal purpose since I have another business number which bill covered by my company. Hi Ingkingderders, nice to hear from you again and appreciate your response..You are right,I also don't know where is my first cellphones I used 15 years ago.I stick to same number even I change cell phones almost every year.The network provider still exist and they offer many benefit for loyal customer as well. Having one number all those years is really helpful, I mean your family and friends would remember your number easily since it has been there for 15 years already, and that is really important specially in times of emergency.

HI Ingkingderders, you are right,if we have only one number our family will be easily contact us everywhere,especially in emergency case were happened. Although most of family member already have facebook account nowadays, we frequently contact through this channel. I've heard my cousin had delivered baby from her status in facebook, then I call her through her old cell phone number..have a nice day

facebook has really made the world a little smaller, cause it's really easier to contact friends and family and you can really be updated real time.

You have good point, I prefer to keep my cell phone number for the same reason as you.I also don't like the hassle to change number and have to announce to my relatives every time I do changing.However I have change mobile phone a lot, I think almost every year but not the cell phone number. My friend changes his number since there a lot of technical problem, other friend change number due to he didn't want his ex girl friend know his cell phone number anymore.There quite few number of reason for that one.. have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Yes most persons are changing their number in fear of their ex persons.

Hi Sajujohn.. sorry typo error.. I meant cell phone number.. not cell phone or mobile phone. I typed two times since my internet connection having problem, it's always happen intermittently these days. I missed the "number" word..sorry again.. thanks for responding anyway

Hi kaylachan, appreciate your comments, six years is quite long time.You are right, sometimes people change their number for the same reason.I have experienced my business number being harassed by strangers from credit card company,everytime they call me because they thought I was the other person who use the number before in the company. I always tried to explain but they keep calling me..

My friend also always keep changing because there's mobile phone offer,he trade-in his old cell phone with new one but he has to change with new number and have to bounded about two years, it's called 2 years promotion plan. Not only for other people to keep in touch with us easily but also we able to remember the same number rather than changing new number and have to memorize every time.Four years is quite long, I guess many people already have your number in their phone book then..have a nice day and happy mylotting.
