First off,let me say happy St. Patricks day to all my mylot friends. How will you celebrate and why? I have ancesters that came from Ireland. Therefore I have an Irish heritage. And Iam proud of that.
I usually make corned beef for dinner or another Irish recipe for dinner.
Myself and my daughter usually wear green clothing or jewelry. We have got t shirts with Irish slogans on them.I do know a lot of people that just use the holiday as an excuse to party.
Please everyone have fun on how ever you choose to celebrate but be safe.

I have had a very quiet day, even forgot to put on green this morn but wasn't anyone around to pinch me, lol. Hope u have had a good one. Corn beef sounds good. haven't fixed it in years. I don't party so hopefully i'll be safe at home, thanks.

I fixed corned beef last year. This year I was going to fix Shepards pie,but could not afford to buy everything that I needed.I did wear green. Before I got dressed my daughter pinched me.But,I did have some green on my pajama's,so I got mad at her.Ha Ha!

I am Irish. We did not really do anything today to celebrate. I made corned beef and cabbage the other day when I was in the mood for it instead of today. My extended family has a party on the weekend following St. Patrick's Day every year. I am not going to it, but my son is going with my parents.

Happy St Patrick's Day to you too. Hubby and I went to a party next door at the Army Navy Airforce Vets club, and then today I found something nice and green to wear. I also brought green four-leaf-clover cookies home from the coffee shop for Hubby and I. They were absolutely delicious.
