Playing the game wrong  | | | | 
I have a game called Parcheesi that I played as a child and loved. And it has been that long since I played it, so when I got the game out recently to play, I still remembered a little how to play, yet I wanted to double check to make sure. Well, what a surprise, when I was younger I didn’t play by the rules, instead I played it differently than what it says on the box. It was confusing so I will probably continue to play it the way I thought it was played, but I may try it by the rules in the future.

| |  Parcheesi!! I used to love that game. Haven't played it in ages. I think that many of us didn't play it as the rules listed cause I remember they were abit confusing. Growing up, I loved Monopoly but we changed a few things, not sure why! My friends and I added all the taxes and penalty payments into a pot in the middle and if you landed on Free Parking, you got the money pot. Definitely added another level of fun to the game for us! | | I remember that game as well. I think each player had 5 pieces(or 4) amd you could play with 2,3 or 4 players. If you landed on a squate with someone else you sent them home. In order to start you had to roll a certain number to get out of home. It was a fun game. I did like Monopoly also but it took forever. | | | |

| | As someone who plays by the rules as an adult, I was surprised to find out I didn't as a kid and that other people also didn't follow the rules..but that's ok, I love the game. As for monopoly, I remember playing it and hated it, maybe because my siste rinsisted on playing by the rules??? | |  yeah. it s a card game called pusoy-dos here in the philippines. i thought i was playing it right. i can t remember the rules anymore so it doesn t matter anymore. lol. i was, i think, 10 when my cousin taught me how to play it cuz he had no one to play it with back then. he doesn t teach well so i ended up misunderstanding a lot of stuff.
