Is the Oscar a Curse to Actresses?  

I think you answered your question. :) A curse cannot be explained. But here, men's insecurity is what breaks the relationship. So they are already there in a relationship wherein the man wants all the adulation, which is a wrong type of relationship. If it breaks, may be they are better off! They can then look for a man who chan handle it, rather than smile and act in front of everybody, and suffer at home.

It has nothing to do with the awards but what earns them those awards seems to the reason. This happens not just with celebrities but with ordinary couples where the woman rules the roost with her higher pay, her high confidence level, her other capabilities which gives the man in her life a complex resulting in marital discord.

I think there are alot of men who have big egos and can't handle being married to a successful women. However there is Meryl Streep who has won many Oscars and she doesn't seem to have marriage problems. It all depends on how strong a man is and can handle a talented female. I guess these guys just can't cut it and found it easier to screw up which then leads to divorce. I feel so bad for Sandra because she did not deserve this at all.

nope. i think its not a curse but mans ability to feel insecure of his woman partner. its just a statue that signifies their partners great achievement in their career which is acting but some men cannot handle being over shun by their wives or female counterpart.

but lets give the men the benefit of the doubt. fame couldn't be the reason alone why their leaving their wives. maybe there's a different reason for what happened.
