How does it feel that the riches guy in the world was from Mexico?  

So I guess Bill Gates was much more useful for the society because he have more charitable works over Carlos Slim. So he was much more into preserving the culture over helping out people in need.

That is a typical greedy response. You might want to check out what the likes of Bill Gates have actually done for charity. It is rather a lot.

If you are rich and you gave everything for charity , you will end up to the point of having nothing,there is always a limitation on giving back.

I dont know he had done something to change the economy of Mexico or if he just keep all the money by him self. As a person of a 3rd world country, If i was given the chance to be a billionaire, I will do my best to turn my country into a 1st world one.

It would be cool if his company can provide jobs to his country but its seemed to be not enough since there still some jobless Mexicans out there.

well, that's quite not possible, coz of course not all people in their place can be qualified for the jobs they are offering...just like here in our country.

I wish someone will be ridiculously rich in our country, In a way he was kinda inspiring that someone that is not from a 1st world country is the riches in the world.

Hello Kent Carlos Slim is a mobile manufacturer and during the last couple of years he featured almost regularly in the top three rich people in the world and eventually he overtook Bill Gates and Warren Buffet the investment banker.The way it is sreading very soon may be we will have the owner of the facebook to be the richest individual of the world.

I dont think the owner of Face book will ever be the richest person in the world. Before it was Carlos Slim, There was Bill gates who owns Microsoft and the oil company owners. The owner of google have only a billion dollars and we know how much google is more used than facebook. But the owner of face book got rich because of the Filipinos who over populated the internet. When it comes to social network sites, I'll be sticking with "White on Rice" AM/WF for the win!!!

The richest women in the world now is Oprah Winfrey. Rankings always change every year.

The Centro Histórico in Ciudad de méxico suffered a lot after the earthquake in 1985. We visited with my husband after that and it was a pity how palaces and old beautiful buildings had suffered. When I went again, about 10 years later, many buildings had been remodeled . In Ciudad dde México earthquakes dio a lot of harm because the land is not solid but the aztecs built their city over a swamp.
