I agree with you spalladino. When we see that things will not be as bad as many people thought it would concerning the health care bill, there will still be the 20% who will spread false rumors and lies. I'm willing to bet that many of these hate mongers and "law abiding" ones threatening assassination are so called Christians who thought Obama was the AntiChrist. I've always thought that if an AntiChrist were to come, it would be because of their actions.

I don't think this bill is perfect...and I'm against the mandate that requires folks to purchase insurance for constitutional reasons...but the lies that keep being stated as hard facts are getting old fast. Believe me Rob, some folks would rather have their foot blown off than admit that anything the current administration does is good or right.

In my opinion during the 2008 presidential campaign the hate factor was against Sarah Palin and her children.
The left smeared her and her family with every lie thinkable and made up outrageous lies about her and her family.
Democrats filed 18 bogus law suit against her in just a little over one year after she run for vice president.
Sarah Palin's private email was hacked by a democrat in office son,her church was set fire causing one million dollar is damage.
Police and fire said the fire was intentionally set by professions who disarmwed the fire alarm system before setting the fire,there was left behind no other leads.
There was no hate against Obama during the campaign,far as Sarah Palin pointing out clearly Obama's extensive back ground of socialism and anti-American pal's like Tony Rezko,Louise Farrakhan,Jeremiah Wright,Bill Ayers for the very short list,Sarah Palin was most correct.
My posting today had nothing what so ever with the 2008 campaign these widow being shattered at two New York democrat offices and threats on Obama's life came directly from the health care bill being rammed down the American people's throats that has rejects the bill and it being past unconstitutional.

In my post to Rob I simply said it makes him no better then who ever broke out them windows at the democrat offices in New York or the two guy's who tweety that carp last night.

No, Rose, there was no hate and fear rehtoric directed at McCain or Palin during the campaign. Smear campaigns, lawsuits, computer hacking and even the fire did not publicly encourage people to be afraid of Palin...and you cite not one statement or event regarding McCain because there were none.

But, thank you for helping me to prove my point by bringing up specifics of the things you readily admit that Palin said to crowds of Americans at every opportunity. You are correct, she did focus a lot of her remarks on Obama's background of so called socialism as well as make claims that he was Muslim. She did comment a lot about his alleged associations with people she described as anti-American and who should be feared, such as Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan. She intentionally stirred up hatred and fear to the point that John McCain was forced to say nice things about Obama at one of his rallies. Do you remember that sweet old lady who stood up and told McCain that she was AFRAID of Obama because he was a Muslim? If this kind of fear mongering is acceptable why didn't McCain run with that it? I'll tell you why, because it wasn't acceptable and at least he had enough common sense to know that. It was ugly and uncalled for which is why McCain had to stand there and reassure that nice lady that Obama was a decent man and not someone she should be afraid of.

Let me make this real simple for your little brain to absorb. Palin went out of her way to incite hatred and fear among many of the American people. This was wrong, this was low class, this was uncalled for...and the damage she did, and that John McCain allowed her to do, continues to effect this country today.

Actually spalli, I have come to believe there are those in government who would be more than happy to push people over the edge, create the climate in which something like an assasination or civilian uprising would take place, so they would have reason to crack down. I have honestly come to believe this.

Of course you have, xfahctor, because you listened to the fear rhetoric for months on end so I'm not surprised that even basically reasonable people who dearly love their country, such as yourself, have become concerned and skittish. I'm not as comfortable as I was before the campaign either. When I take the time to ask myself why...to look for real evidence of why...I can only find accusations and allegations.

I like to think I have been somewhat spot on in a number of predictions I have made based on the trends I watch, regulatory action and the mentality of people now running the country. am I always right? NO, but I am right more often than I am comfortable with. As horrific as some things may be to consider, we must never for one second lull ourselves in to believing they can't happen here. Many things we thought could never happen....have.

Wager earners will be paying even more in pay roll tax very soon,increases like this in the time of American's are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table has very much outraged the American people that are expected to pay for this monster of a health care bill so others can have health care.
The American people for the most part wanted some change but they was not thinking about becoming like say Europe,this has caused the outrage in the American people and it has nothing what so ever to do with race.

I "get" that you're happy with your health insurance so you don't care about the millions who have none and to justify that view you've convinced yourself that those who have no insurance are lazy and irresponsible. You hold the poor and the working people who are dying due to lack of care in total contempt. You obviously don't understand that you're already paying for the uninsured, we all are when they use the ER as their primary care doctors. Anyway, I know you're happy with your insurance but how would you feel if your premium went up by 39%? How about, what if you became seriously ill and your insurance company decided to drop you or if you reached the lifetime or annual limit? These are all problem that are being addressed in the health care bill.

You do not know my private business far as my health care insurer,I'm on medicare just like most seniors citizens.
I have paid in to medicare most all of my working life and so has my better half who is still employed and still paying medicare tax, we are not getting any thing FREE.
I have never said that I don't want the uninsured to not have health care insurance,what I have said is many of the uninsured are young and healthy and they choose to be uninsured so why should the wage earner in this country be force to pay for their health care insurance that they do not even want?
Why would the wage earners want to pay for 20 thousands illegals,this government needs to do the right thing kick their butts out along with Obama's welfare aunt illegally here from Kenya for the past six year's.

This health care bill has a few beanies right away but most will not kick in until 2014,they will collect tax's the first four year's to begin to pay for this health care bill,like that democrat Senator said on record the other day they have to tie our hands to keep us from stealing the money.
I'm one of the lucky ones my better half uncle is a doctor I wish everyone had a doctor in their family.
My better half has outstanding health care benefits he is a union member,hell with the union and the democrat administration he is on easy street far as his union benefit coverage.
Of course he has to pay union dues monthly to have health care coverage which includes dental and vision.
Yes, we are the lucky ones and in four year's the ones that don't suffer in agony and die waiting for health care to kick in will get maybe some medical help.
The problem that I see dumping tens of thousands now in to Medicaid which is a broken program,most people know doctor's do not take new Medicaid people.
So they will have Medicaid before long good luck finding a doctor who will take it because they are far and few in between.
This is where Medicare is soon to be heading so people going on Medicare will find the same problem much fewer in the medical field by 2014.
In my opinion by 2014 we will have much lesser doctors,nurses and medical professionals and out the gate find we are in a doctor,nurse shortage with 30 million more people enrolled in to this new health care system.
Just like what happen to Canada doctors,nurses shortage and so many people waiting in lines for medical help.
I think it would had worked just fine if the government covered these 30 million uninsured and collected one dollar a month from every tax payer hell they would maybe have money to actually burn up just for the fun of it.

My better half Kenny never has been interested in politics,far as being in the union he has learned only this year how dishonest the unions really are,he pay's his dues and goes to work he has never been involved with any union meetings.
Kenny is who is covered under blue cross,he was over night in the hospital a few months ago not even there 24 hour's his bill was a little over $7,000 his part was $1,009.he has gotten the doctors paid in full and has about $350.00 left to pay the hospital off.
Yes the cost was unbeliveable a few blood test and them tabs put on his chest to check his heart,the reason they did that was he was having chest pains which was over long before he was admitted in to the hospital,his brother at 37 year's old had a pace maker put in to keep his heart beat regulated so the doctor said with some one in his famiky haveing a heart issue they wanted to keep Kenny over night just for safety reasons just in case, you know,well it was a really very expensive over night stay for darn sure.
Far as the dreadful unions as you described them Kenny is against card check,he is more in favor of the secret ballet as it has been for a very long time, Obama want's to unionize the work place.
I understand the workers of course need decent wages and health care,but like say G.M. wages go out of sight and we see how that all ended up.
In my opinion it is another job killer and this is not want our country needs at this time with last I heard 15 million unemployed and of course it is higher then that.
