Do pawn shops buy used electronics?  

It totally depends on the equipment and on the pawn shop. IF they have an over abundance of some things they may give a real low price for it. Some might not take certain types of electronics. It just depends on the pawn shop. I would call ahead.

Every pawn shop is different so check with your local shop to see. Most only take antique electronics that are still in working order. Radios are their biggest call. But some of them do have a section for computers and appliances, it mostly depends on the size of the shop and if they have a call for those kind of items.

Although i have never sold any items to pawn shops, I have been to a few pawn shops to see what they had for sale. My guess would be that, yes, they do accept electronics. Every paen shop i have ever been to sold electronics, and i am pretty sure that all of the items that they sell are things bought off of people who come in and sell them. I think you would be able to sell those printers, but you probably won't get a whole lot for them. You should really try putting a post up on craigslist. I do very well selling items off of craigslist, and i think you'd have a good chance of selling those printers!

i know the one near us does but they have to be top of the line and pretty current before they will even look at them though. you could try craigs list.

Hi Joy, I would call first and see if they would buy printers. Some might and then some might not, it would depend on the resale value. Here is a good idea, list them on Craigs list, its easy and it doesn't cost anything. You can post pictures in your ad. I had three mamma cats have babies within days of each other. I had 18 cats and kittens. I was known as the crazy cat lady. I put an ad on Craigs list with a few pics and like magic found homes for the kittens. I even talked one lady into taking the mamma cat and her 3 babies. I talked a few people into taking more then one kitten, they keep each other company, hehe. You can always check on resale shops too, they might be interested. Good luck making a few bucks.

i see this is 4 months old but i was wondering how that turned out? if you called and asked and if they took them? Did you try craigslist? some used things get sold there. although it seems pc parts and add ons dont bring much anywhere these days

Well as far as I know, these type of places do buy things like this. The only thing I would think is depending on how old they are, even if they are like new is it would be hard to get much from them. I know I have sometimes wondered the same thing, but usually try selling the item firsthand to someone else.
