|  Kidney has been an important part different cuisines around the world and maybe it has something to do with its unique texture but cooking it is not easy, Its gonna take tears and perseverance before you can neutralize the unwanted odor. In sweden they have a delicious recipe stew made out of it and they call it Hökarpann. Its also a very important part of the French cooking. In the Israel, they make a popular barbeque known as Meurav Yerushalmi out of it. In UK they make a pie out of it and thats all I know by far, I have no idea though if its important in Asian cuisine. In Argentina they make an Asado out of the kidneys.

| |  well i never had cook kidney before so i wouldn't know if it's hard to cook or take a lot of time to cook...kidney always been cook by my mother or my sisters or some other relative...i am not much of a cook and besides kidney is not something i would wanna cook either if i am cooking....but anyway i do love kidney...i love eating kidney...even just the other day it came to my mind to ask my mother to cook it...i like kidney....and i prefer to eat kidney instead of liver...i don't eating liver at all...so good is a good choice and tasty.

| |  well kidney is one of the main organ of the human body and its like pretty imp bcoz it filters all you pottasium and sodium from your blood which is very imp other wise your creatinine and blood urea will be increased and it tends to kidney failure and water gets stuck in your body and you will be on dialiasys or another solution will be kidney transplantation so to be on safe side do not use pain killers a lot which is one of the major reason for kidney failure......

| |  Yes i agree with you. Being a filipina, a native from the philippines, kidney was treasured for its unique and delectable taste found in many of our cuisine. Me myself loves to have it as an important recipe for my pancit, adobo, chopsuey and mixed vegetable to name a few.

I have never eaten kidneys nor have i cooked one. But basing on what you have described, i don't think i would be tempted to try cooking it. But i have seen photos of dishes made from kidneys, they look interesting. I would presume that it has the same texture and taste like liver.

| |  as much as its importance on human anatomy it is also one good food with nutrients. here in the Philippines there is a good food made of kidney from an animal. i just forgot the name. i don't eat it but they say its delicious. once tastes always wanted. a lot of pinoys love it. i on my part i won't try it. the thought of it already gives me the chills.
