How often do you clean your ears with cotton buds/cotton swabs?  

I don't clean my ears often, so I'd say less than 50 a year :O
But doing it everyday is fine, don't worry, its good for your hygiene.

Medical people say not to use a cotton bud or swab you may perforate the eardrum and end up deaf in that ear. They say use a facecloth and clean only the outside if wax needs clearing from the inside see a doctor or nurse for this. I just wash my face, neck, ears with a facecloth seems to work OK

Well, it is good to have a clean ear rather than saving some cotton buds. I do clean my ears everyday. It may not be cotton buds but there are times that I use a soft cloth. I don't want to be like when I was a very young boy that nobody cleaned or taught me to clean my ears. Cleaning our ears is one of the good health habits that we need to develop as we grow up. Hi,there.I like to clean my ears but I don't think I do this regularly.Sometimes after I clean my hair and I feel like some water come to my ears,and then I will clean it.But sometimes when I feel so boring and nothing to do I would like to clean my ears too.

Hi i am the same with you,i clean my ear after bathing every night.if i don't do that i will feel very uncomfortable.sometime i concerned i use too much cotton buds. i hope to find a way to replace it.

I always do everyday if I have them in stock in the house.
It is just habit but I am very very careful in doing so, as too much cleaning can be detrimental to the ears.

Wow slow night? I clean my ears every day when I get out of the shower. I use two qtips. one side to clean outer ear and one side to clean inside. To me this is a small price to pay to be ear wax free!

actually i use 3 cotton buds everyday as i used to clean my ears every after shower so mine is more than yours besides its not that expensive so i guess its alright to over used it. its better to clean than let people see my ears with dirt.

I, too, clean my ears daily after I have taken a bath. It just feels weird for me if I don't clean it, it also itches sometimes. I don't worry about the cotton buds that I use, but I worry though that cleaning everyday is not really good for me. I have heard somewhere that you should just clean like once a week or something. I'm not really sure.. anyway, I hope that it doesn't really have a bad effect on our ears or something...
