| It's unbelievable 61% of the democrats in Florida are against their attorney general suing the federal government over this health care bill. Never the less they have not prevailed,Florida has joined the other states in suing the federal government over a unconstitutional health care bill that has passed in congress against the will of the majority of the Americans will. Attorney general Bill McCollum is running for the governor of Florida in 2010, bet ya this puts a feather in his cap with the voters in Florida,What say you? (Florida voters Favor Their Attorney General suing over Obamacare) As Florida’s attorney general, Bill McCollum is suing the federal government to prevent implementation of the newly passed health care plan. As a candidate for governor, McCollum may have found a popular campaign position. Fifty-four percent (54%) of Florida voters favor their state suing the federal government to challenge the requirement in the new plan that every American must get health insurance. Thirty-six percent (36%) oppose such a lawsuit. Support for the lawsuit comes from 76% of Republicans and 78% of unaffiliated voters. However, 61% of Democrats are opposed to the legal action. http://www.myfloridalegal... | | | | | |

| | I called my AG and threw my 2 cents in. I told him to go for it, but I still don't know if New Mexico is going to sue or not. | | | | | | |

| | About 50% of Americans believe the United States is being radicalized and turned into a country they can hardly recognize. And about 50% of Americans are okay with those changes. I don't think that 50% against Obamacare will ever accept it. I seriously don't. This health care plan has divided the nation. | | | | | | |

| | Rose...just because someone is a democrats does not mean they don't believe in state's rights. I know plenty that do. So while they may like the healthcare bill on the whole...it would seem a lot agree the mandate goes against state's rights. | | | | | | |

| | lilwonders456, I think this republican gov may very well win the election,Sink right now is way back in the polling but of that can change. I maybe one of the lucky ones Obama gave unions a big fat cookie in this health care bill,my better half is a union member,I'm on medicare, after this health care bill kicks in 2014 he can put me on his union health care insurance,me having per-existing conditions they can't turn me down after the health care bill goes in to effect. I believe people that like this government take over of health care in the long run will hate it,doctors have been clear at least 40% polled say they are retiring, or taking early retitement and other say will leave the medical profession, with the doctor's goes nurseing staff and so much more. It will be very hard for people to get doctors and waiting list will be unbeliveable. With 30 million more people dumped in to the system, fewer doctors and nurses it will be a nightmare. They are dumping 100,000 in to medicare which is a broke health care system that has been a mess for years. Maybe 50% of the American people may want this health care but I'm one of the 50% that dose not. Thanks for your responds to the discussion. | | | |

| | Actually, Rose, if you're really interested in the race for governor of Florida...this could go either way for McCollum. We have approximately 4 million residents...about 20 percent of the population...without health coverage down here and a large population of seniors. The $250 subsidies they will get along with small-business tax credits and the insurance coverage for people with preexisting conditions will all kick in before the election. So far neither McCollum nor Alex Sink have offered any alternative proposals to Floridians. | | | | | | |

| | so 61% of Democrats? You would think that would be higher. I understand the Republicans and unaffiliated. hhmm interesting. The party pushing has a majority but that still leaves over 30% of democrats? This should be interesting to see how the courts will throw all of these suits out. | | | | | | |
