| Do U think a none Popular folkloric monster can make a hollywood horror hit?  | | | |  Do you think a monster or creature from a foreign folklore can be popularized in a Hollywood movie. There were many folkloric spirits and monsters from different cultures, that is not popular and very unknown in American culture, Do you think a director can somehow use introduce a monster that is not familiar to Americans in a Hollywood movie? I mean they can be something new to offer. I mean the Japanese movie " the Grudge was able to introduce the folkloric spirit known as "onryo" to the world.

| |  They might add or introduce the said monster to a certain scary movie but as for the folkloric monster itself as the main thing within the movie perhaps its going to be a lil bit difficult. But hey we will never know just like what happened with the grudge, it is possible but the possibility is slim ;)

why not. as long as there's a good publicity for the movie, good casting, good story, good production, nice visual effects...hmmm everything will be possible. just give it a try.
usually if the film is from hollywood, it catches attention and gives curiosity to people so i guess it will be possible... who knows.

| | Well Koreans have very complicated names, They dont really use much 1 word names.
