Do you find it amusing when left-handed people write?  

I worked as a cake decorator and it was HARD to teach a left handed person how to decorate cakes, next to impossible. My granddaughter is left handed, when her mother realized that this was not going to change she didn't push her to use her right hand anymore. I have been teaching her to sew and it is next to impossible for her to cut material. I have a hard time trying to teach her something. Same with my best friend, I will show her something and it will be wrong because she is left handed. I don't find it 'funny' but it is frustrating at times.

Yep, I have a left handed brother and my husband is also left handed. I don't see how they even manage to write at all and both are terrible at it. My brother actually had what they call "mirror vision" meaning he wrote backwards when he was first learning. My gosh, myself and my two sisters used to tease him so much about that. Now I feel horrible for doing that but at the time it seemed so funny to me.
I remember when my brother was trying to learn to drive a straight stick car. OMG.. It took him forever to do that. But he did eventually learn God only knows how. I don't think I could have pulled it off.

I believe that it's not abnormality to be left-handed. I have seen a lot of people who are left-handed, but yet they can out-perform the right handed people. Personally, I think that we just understand the person and let it be if he is a right handed or left handed person, as long as they have a functioning hand to perform the needed activity.

my husband writes with his left hand and i still find amusing everytime i see him writing. i actually find it odd. hahaha. I remember when we were filling up forms when we were applying for a maariage license and we had to fill up pages and pages of forms, I was literally smiling at him while he used his left hand to write. silly, i know.

I am left handed myself and I have to say that it's kind of pretty hard.
I myself get amazed when I see someone using their left hand lol.
I am really lucky enough that my parents didn't force me to use the right hand after they found out that I was left handed. But my cousin wasn't lucky enough. She was made to use the right hand. She does just the writing and eating with the right hand. Rest of all she uses her left hand.
While as a kid, it was really hard for me to learn writing as all the teacher were right handed.

Well, sometimes it amuses me, especially if I found out a certain person which I know turns out to be left-handed. But nonetheless, I have seen and know many left handed persons, it's normal.
...the thing is, they're more amused at me! I am right handed, but my dominant hand is the left. I use my left hand in handling scissors, tennis rackets, and just about everything. But I am right handed when it comes to writing! people are amused at me, not the other way around.

I'm left handed and my handwriting is impeccable... I can learn almost anything but my coordination for sports is lacking. I do have a hard time with scissors and knives but mostly because the angle is made for a right handed person... What I always thought was funny about left handed people is the way they turn their hand and write so the ink gets all over them... I never had that problem. What everyone thinks is funny about me is that I angle my paper when I write so that I dont smudge the ink... Teachers always thought I was trying to cheat...

what i find rather amusing is a right handed person writing as a left handed person. My elder brother is left handed and last week I saw someone who writes exactly like him but with the right hand. That attracted me to the person and we began to talk about it. She said she had grown up learning from someone who wrote with the left hand. So amusing isn't it. Lol

yes! its really amusing and i still wonder how they do it! i try to write for endless times using my left hand for endless tries and i still randomly do and its a mess! and so those who are lefthanded not only amuses me but i am totally impressed on how they do it so effortlessly. :)

oh im so sad for your cousin. when i was little it was considered wrong also. but since then they've discovered that a lot of geniuses are left handed. perhaps he could practice now with his left and keep up till it gets perfect. you know what they say about practice.
