Walmart Cellphones |

| Has anyone tried the new phone service that Walmart is carrying? I really would like one of those phones..can't recall the price, but you get unlimited everything for 45 bucks a month.. That is all. Period, no other charges. And how can you beat that? Can you beat that? I am not able to afford one at present but soon I hope. But you get unlimited web, phone, text, and all included with this phone that is made by Tracfone I believe. Can you guide me anyone? Or do you know of a better deal today? | | | | | |

| | Is that to call other plans too, like calling an AT&T customer? Sounds too good to be true, but I'm a bit cynical today. LOL! Let me know. I was looking at AT&T Go Phones which might be the best deal for me at this point. Most of my family is on AT&T. | | | | | | |

| | I have TMobile, but I did have a Tracfone years ago. However, it was not one price for everything. It is a good deal if it includes unlimited phone, text, etc. Not too many prepaid phones offer that. Normally Tracfone you have to load time as you use it. If you don't use a cell phone much, unless like travel or emergencies, then it's okay, but for everyday use it can get expensive. I would check it out thoroughly before buying it. | | | | | | |

| | I saw an ad about phones Walmart handled now. Tracfone, huh? Fourty five dollars is pretty good. I would like to find a family plan if I was going to get a cell. Right now I have a land line through my cable company and it is alittle less than this that you speak of. We may look into it when and if I get moved. | | | | | | |

| | Yes Celt. I know the home phone is cheap that comes with the cable because you get unlimited, but the thing is it is not a cell right? Yeah this cellphone is around 20 bucks to buy and the plan is 45 bucks a month, unlimited text, calls, and webservice. | | | |

| | I never have had a cell phone. My daughter did for a while. My granddaughter was given one by a friend to use because they had changed to another plan but had to pay that one off so she had it for a few months. I have only used cells afew times. Hope you get one of these if that is what you want. | | | |

| | I've been wondering if that was a good deal or not. If it's everything they say you can't beat it, can you? Keep me posted if you hear anything more about it and I'll do the same! Annie | | | | | | |

| | Hi Ocean, I have heard nothing but good about this phone. If you use a cell phone a lot then this would be the way to go from what I hear. I don't have one. I have a tracphone that I bought at walmart for 20 bucks and it doubles your mins. for the life of your phone. For 20 bucks I get 120 mins and that works fine for me. I only use my phone for if my daughter needs something while I'm not at home and emergencies etc. I spend about 20 bucks every 2 months or so. So for me, what I'm doing now is the better deal. If you use your cell often then I'd go with this walmart plan. | | | | | | |

| | Haven't seen that offer, but I know that TracFone doesn't have the kind of phone I want and need. I used TracFone as a backup for several years and their regular service is certainly affordable -- my annual prepaid with double minutes came out to $8.25 a month for that service. I don't think you can beat that anywhere. But then again with thousands of minutes left unused on the account I had to stop using them because the service does not work where I now spend most of my time. They did send a new card and that worked for a few days but not reliably. Too bad. | | | | | | |

| | I'm with Net10 and spend $15 a month for my phone, 150 minutes a month is the minimum you can buy. I never sue it, it's only for emergencies, so the minutes keep rolling over. That's pretty cheap!! But it doesn't do anything but make and receive calls. I notice that you said Walmart's phone does everything, that's a pretty good deal. But it's more phone than I need so I'll stick with my Net10. | | | | | | |

| | I hadn't heard of Walmart having their own cell phone service until now. That is neat! Sounds like they have a really good deal, too, since everything is unlimited. I think Metro PCS has a plan very similar for $40 or $45 per month for unlimited everything. I've also heard of Boost Mobile, but I'm not sure what their prices are. I have Verizon. It's a little more expensive (and not unlimited), but the coverage areas is pretty much the entire United States. There are very few dead areas. That's why I'm not sure about these other cheaper places. Their coverage areas where you can call and get good signal might not be as much. I guess it's all of matter of weighing your options and seeing what you can get for your money. The great thing is that with a lot of cell phone carriers, you can negotiate a lot of times because they're in the mood to give good bargains considering our current economy. They try to get as many customers as they can! I hope you find the best plan that works for you! | | | | | | |
