When villains were in an alliance, nobody really wants to be a follower but sometimes when there is a more powerful in the position some wanted to get their spot and be the leader. Betrayal is a huge part of the plan if you want to take over the world and have it all yours. What do you think you can do to be in power and steal the spot from your leader, How can you make a power shift and turn the tables?
Trust first and deceive later. That's the only way I see it he/she needs to trust me and then I would sell her/his plans to the enemies or even worst just smothering them with a pillow while they sleep just to get it over with
