This is a video of the Newsboys with their newest lead singer, Michael Tait, formally of DC Talk. http://www.youtube.com/wa...

I think it is wonderful what these guys are doing, what a witness to what we, as followers of Christ, are suppose to really be about.?

I also love Michael Tait and miss him along with Toby and Kevin in DC Talk. But just like I enjoy Toby's music today, I will like Michael with the Newsboys, though Peter will be greatly missed. Now, as for Kevin, I'd like to see him doing something, he too is a great singer and song writer.

Are there other newsboys/DC Talk fans here? And what is your option about Peter leaving and Michael taking over? I think it will work, once people get use to it.

I LOVE DCTalk, and I really like the Newsboys. I haven't heard any of their new stuff for a couple of years now. When I was fifteen for my birthday, one of my friends got us tickets to see DCTalk and Audio Adrenaline live in concert. It was an incredible concert. I also remember around that time CBS did a news piece on their nightly national news cast. It was about their song Jesus Freak. I love that song still.

AHHHHH, you saw DC Talk and Audio A in concert??? OH my, that is awesome, especially since those groups are not together anymore.. I almost saw Audio A when they came through Dayton on their last tour. Someone at the church we were going to at the time knew how much I liked them and was going to buy us four tickets, for my husband, myself and my 2 children. But my daughter, who was about 17 at the time, only wanted to go with someone her own age. I understood that, and if she could have gotten one of her friends to go, and buy their own ticket I would have been ok with it. But the tickets were not just for her, and because of that, the guy backed down, seeing the conflict it caused..:(

I have a few DC Talk and Audio A on cassette and in the process of saving money to replace the cassettes with CD's since I no longer have a cassette player..

You are sooooo, fortunate to see these 2 groups..And I am trying not to envy you..angel

Now that I think about it, that is the last concert I ever went to. Before that my youth group had gone to see Point of Grace and Steven Curtis Chapman. And my dad had gotten me and some of my friends tickets to see Michael English (when he was big, and before his affair).

Even if I had money to go now, I don't know anyone who would go with me to see groups like DC Talk. It's too bad we don't live close together!

Really? because I love going to concerts only I can't find anyone to go with. Too bad DC Talk isn't around anymore though. But there is casting crowns, (which I missed last Thurs because someone had to watch the puppies who got spayed that day sad) and newsboys. I also would love to see makeshift3, but they have a much different genre and one that I don't know if you'd like.

My brother-in-law took my sister to see Casting Crowns in concert about a year and a half ago as a birthday present.

I just won a casting crowns CD/DVD yesterday on ebay, first time I bid against another..:) Looking forward to getting it, but it will take a couple weeks since I am paying for the slower delivery.
