I think the maffia had something to do with JFK's murder. I think there is some other group (like an illuminati) that is also involved. Definitely, the group has power and money, whoever they are. I think there are other factors that keep us in Iraq and Afghanistan. It could be about oil, but it's also about Israel and the need to spread Islam worldwide. No place is safe from Muslim extremism and soon, China will feel its sting. Not trying to pick on the Muslims, but I was shocked that Afghanistan was muslim since as a kid I knew the country was Buddhist. And seeing that Indonesia and Malaysia are also Muslim (not by violent means, I admit) shows me that the religion is spreading as is Christianity. So there are other factors at play that dictates who gets killed. So if there is a group that is benefitting from the war, it would be hard for President Obama to pull out and if he did, there are militias to point the finger at, if someone did something to him. I think this mysterious group knew that people would be pointing fingers at Castro and the communists or the mafia. If the exist, they are a very sophisticated group.

The fiction is much more entertaining always.

A disgruntled commie killing Kennedy isn't nearly as attractive a story as the grassy knoll, inside job, and other conspiracies.

I'm really surprised that the conspiracy about George W. Bush masterminding the 911 attacks isn't a conspiracy that has caught on with the same passion. Although that version is sexier than maniac terrorists, and even though it's still getting huge play on the very far left, it doesn't have quite the same traction.

The truth have never been revealed but it could be right that Oswald has been made a scapegoat in this most high profile assassination of the decade. It is unfortunate that America and its allies don't have the foresight to see where this international calamity will end. Isn't it about time that all these war mongering be stopped and start negotiation for a lasting peace instead? What has honestly been achieved by the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq? Only more and more bloodshed. Why should strong nations like America allowed the continuation of war as it only contribute to the increasing number of dead civilians including many women and children is absolutely deplorable.

Mr Obama now is the time for real leadership to be shown and all parties to be told enough is enough. When military aggression has failed, diplomacy and reconciliation should be given a chance.

I think Oswald did it. I have seen recent scientific explanations of the "magic bullet" and examinations of the photos of the grassy knoll and there's no gunman there. I do think it's very coincidental that Jack Ruby killed Oswald before anyone could really interrogate him, however, which leads me to believe Ruby did it in exchange for something or to pay a debt to the mafia. Since we don't know what Oswald would have said if he'd made a statement, everything is conjecture.

I guess that after all this time and all the revelations of voter fraud, mafia involvement, affairs and the realization that he was supremely unqualified for the job, I really don't care anymore who killed JFK. But dying young and early in his presidency made him the legend he is and ensured the lifetime senatorial position of Teddy Kennedy. Even in Massachusetts, however, people are long over the Kennedy royal dynasty and moving on.

And Kennedy did nothing to stop the war in Vietnam, he fully supported South Vietnam and the struggle, sent many advisers, money and supplied military training as well as sending experts to assess the situation from a military standpoint. There is no guarantee that we would not have entered the war in Vietnam if Kennedy had lived and nothing to show he supported our withdrawal from Vietnam at that time.

I think very possibly John F. Kennedy was murder from with in the gates of our government,possibly Kennedy would not play ball with all the big boy's and he had to be illuminated.
Far as war people need to understnad war has been from the beginning of time and it will not end until this earth is rained fire upon and all sinful and evil with in it's gates will be burnt to ashes.

I have seen JFK movie and I still remained puzzled what was the real motive behind John F Kennedy's murder. It seems a thick plot and we know only the tip of the iceberg. After JFK's death there is still a certain amount of mystery of what really happened on that day.

You forgot to include VP Johnson who (reportedly hated Kennedy and felt he should have been president) was the one who wanted Kennedy to come to Dallas.

What about the Cubans who were upset because he did not support the Bay of Pigs Invasion?

I beliee that JFK was killed because:
a) he wanted to stop the war
b) he wanted to dismantle the CIA
c) he wanted to dismantle the Federal Reserve
d) he wanted to abolish all secret sociaties

I agreed with all of his ideas. I also believe that the world would be a much better place if he had not been killed.

And in answer to your question; no, I don't think Barrack Obama can/wants to stop the war in Iraq/Afganistan.
